PREMIER LEAGUE 2012/2013 FLOPS

Everyone who signs for Liverpool is automatically a flop.

I think Borini will come good. Anybody else Liverpool sign however, maybe not

Not arsenal fan but like podolski seems to be hit and miss sometimes but has good record, giroud never seen him play before but was not impressed at euros!
He played like 30 minutes at the Euros....

Podolski and Hazard i dont think will live up to expectations, espeically Hazard considering how highly he rates himself

I am going to go Podolski, Hazard and Holman.

Podolski, as much as I have a man crush on him, has proven that he doesn't like sitting on a bench at Bayern, will probably work himself up, then fail to hit the back of the net. Hazard is way to overrated, especially by himself. And Holman, well... he is one of only 2 Australian Internationals that I have seen play, that I have disliked from the start (The other being David Carney, since I know how much you all wanted to know.).

He may be a tad overrated but definitely not to the degree you suggest. You must be a pretty spectacular player to have literally every major club in Europe wanting you.. at a hefty price as well

Well, perhaps he's one of those players you want to perhaps become a little bit more humble as he's a little full of himself. In the Chelsea attack I cant see him underperforming too heavily mind you, he seems to fit the system. The only way he might fail is if Chelsea pick up Hulk/whoever and he loses form with a queue of top players to replace him, perhaps RDM may be rotating a lot to keep players fresh. Podolski is more likely given that it seems unlikely he'll go into his "favoured" position, and hardly shone in the Euros playing left wing - and he must fit into a different system in a different league. Perhaps there's still a fair bit of unfinished business, and I'd say late "rushed" transfers may give the most risky business in the window.

To be fair though he only did all that charade of talking up every club in order to maximize his transfer value which was rather disrespectful and irritating . Been much more humble in his interviews since he joined Chelsea.

Fair point. The point I was trying to make about him (which I should have said in the first place, but it was like... 5 in the morning when I wrote it), is that I feel his ego will get the better of him.
