Wasn't taking a swing at Liverpool (well, maybe a little...), if this had happened last year I would have probably mentioned City but they've done well in the market recently (although when you buy every decent available player one of them is bound to work...). Back to Fletcher... the more you pay, the higher the expectations, thus for that price you will of course have quite high expectations, which I seriously doubt Fletcher can meet. He's not a bad player, but he's definitely not worth that much either.

To be fair, I think it was more like me hoping he would struggle
His talent was all there to see I just thought it would take him a while to settle, but saying that he hasn't faced that many difficult teams so far, against City he was awful in the community shield, yet against the likes of Wigan and Reading he has been immense.
