Rafael Benitez sacked as Internazionale coach

I think Kean pretty much already had the job? I get the feeling they want a puppet not a real manager..

This. Very good point.

Shame to see Rafa 'possibly' get the sack again, he's still a great man + manager.

I was clarifying them. We did, we paid 11 Mil for Johnson (we were already owed 7 Million from Pompey from the Crouch deal. We will make our money back on Babel though. Aquilani was always injured, hence he couldn't do the job. I agree Rafa made some bad transfers, but he made some very good ones.

I am not defending anything, as I have said I was clarifying most of them. And no it isn't, you pay a similar signing on fee to what you would of a normal player...

Legend haha. His son calls a sandwich a butty and all. Weird how he see's Liverpool as 'home' now :)
11 + 7 mil= 18mil That still means you payed 118mil for him :)
You wont get 11mil for Babel, i would bet my house on it
Aquillani as injured when you signed him, defiantly a bad bit of business ;)

You cannot compare their budgets with Rafa's... Sometimes Rafa had to bring in "rubbish fringe players" because of his lack of funds and our terribly poor depth.

nobody would want deliberately bring on rubbish fringe players, he had enough funds but wasted them on the likes of Babel and Aquallani

Late replies FTL sorry (A)

I didn't call them rubbish fringe players.. Just used the words given to me.. Babel and Aqualani weren't rubbish fringe players when we brought them in, the two you mentined especially: Babel was turning into a great player at Ajax he's just failed to be the player he was set out to be so far.. But at 24 there is still hope and if not we can probably recoup most of the money we paid for him. Aqualani was a top player at Roma and if it wasn't for his injuries I think they would have held on to him.. I don't agree with the £17m that we paid for him but he did show sparks of what he can do last year and I couldn't understand the delusional decision to loan him out.

When you compare Rafa's flops with other managers he really hasn't done that badly..

Rafa Benitez is the most shameless caretaker i ever watch, just won two cup and request 5 player?he lucky won that two cup(especialy World Cup Club)with the same squad mourinho win much competition and Benitez?just two and all is just LUCKY!

No statement on the Inter website yet. :S

Ok, this thread's title should remove the question mark.

I'm sad Rafa got sacked as Inter has such high hopes. Rafa should go back to Liverpool and most Liverpool fan will have the best Xmas gift.

Former AC Milan coach Leonardo is favourite to take over from Rafa Benitez.

Wow, shocker.

Very surprising to hear a former Milan player and manager is to take over at Inter. :S Big fan of Leonardo, hope he doesn;t take it.
