Rafael Benitez sacked as Internazionale coach

Yes, definitely. We wouldn't have ******* Poulsen or Konchesky who has lost us points single handedly so far this season.

Yes. He said he would leave if the Yank's never gave him full control of transfers, they soon gave in. That's exactly the same situation.

Its not just them 2 players that have cost you points. What about mis-firing Torres?? You arn't scoring goals either.

Well, What ever would of happened, Comolli would of came in, and Rafa would either have to put up with it, or **** off.

Well if he did, and I highly doubt he would have, Rafa would have certainly spoken out about it. We'll never know though eh? Neither of us are going to reason so it is a pointless argument. Agree to disagree?

Might as well agree, i am happy and want to go to bed soon.

Konchesky continuously gets beat by his man. Poulsen continuously gets caught in posession. The Torres situation (I know you'll disagree) is Roy's fault. Torres thrives into balls into channels whereas he is having to try to retrive these long balls, which is never going to work. He isn't misfiring as he is hardly getting chances. That's another reason why we'd be doing better if Rafa was still here.

Of corse i will dis-agree. Torres was poor in the WC also so is that Del Bosque's fault???

Indeed. Rafa, with his continental style, understands how a striker with Torres' attributes plays. Hodgson seems to think he has a standard English big lump centre-forward to hoof balls up to, someone in the mould of Zamora.

No, that's a chronic lack of fitness's problem. Torres has been going non stop for a few years now, and he was just coming off an injury.

No, although I think any neutral fan would agree that Torres would have played better under Rafa than under Roy.

:) There you go CJACKO, someone who knows what he is talking about.

Reina, Johnson, Agger, Mascherano, Alonso, Kuyt, mediocre?
Ill give you Reina, Mascherano, Alonso and Kuyt but what about Aquilani, Babel, Vorinin, Johnson (defiantly mediocre at best), itandje, Josemi, Kromkam, González, Pennant, Degen, Dossena, Riera and the other obvious ones i have probably missed

Alvaro Nunez- Worst player ever to grace the premier league.

Everyone makes mistakes. On the other hand there's N'Gog, a steal at £1.5 mil, Skrtel was a good buy at £6.5, Mascherano cost £17 mil but was definitely worth it, Fabio Aurelio was free, Arbeloa was quality and £2.5 mil, Kuyt's been worth his fee of £9 mil.

Benitez was a manager who often made mistakes in the transfer market, but also sometimes pulled off golden signings: Torres, Mascherano, Reina, Alonso, Arbeloa.

Aquilani is a good player who never fitted in. Babel was a talent who has a bad attitude and seems to just lurk about. Voronin, we made a profit on. Johnson is a good player. Itandje is just a joke. Josemi was *****, as was Kromkamp who was another we made a profit on, as we did with Mark Gonzalez. Pennant never played to his potential for us. Degen we got on a free and is a decent player who has injury problems, probably will make a profit if Stuttgart make his loan permenant. Dossena is another who never fitted in although he scored 2 goals against United and Madrid ;) Riera is undoubtedly another talented player who was largely inconsistant.

We never spent huge sums on any of them except for Aquilani who we will probably get a fair bit of money back from, we should break even on Babel and I reckon Glen Johnson is a decent right back.

Shows how much you know when you don't even know his name...

The majority of the mistakes being under 5 Million, a fair few of them being free transfers.

Totally agree GodCubed, haven't been following thread so I don't know, has he gone yet

Degen was a good signing which didn't work out. For Dortmund in the 2005 era, along with players like Koller, Rosicky, Ewerthon, Dede and Weidenfeller, he was very good.

Yes, and as usual with this everyone remembers the costly ones: Keane, and so on.

Indeed, he had a lot if injury problems although he was worth a gamble. We did the same with Aurelio and he has been a good squad player for a while now, he's currently our best left-back.

To be fair we only lost 5 Million on Keane, another gamble which never worked out.

Lets just say, Include wages when you talk about signings and profits, i bet most of them Wage altered wont be a profit.

Still, we've hardly lost large amounts of money.

Yeah he has gambled on players, in a way he is similar to Wenger in how he makes signings, but some of the gambles have just been unlucky or injury prone.

**** sake. Scott & CFC + others (mainly chelski fans) stop ******* trolling. & ben to an extent.
This isn't a Rafa versus Roy thread (Rafa wins hands down but meh, whatevs)
This is about whether Rafa has been sacked or not.

I'm not trolling in any way, we're talking about Rafa and his ability which in my opinion is on-topic. Looks like you're getting worked up over nothing to me.
