I started using the updated tactic and ticked the focus passing off. So, even though the 5th season started poorly I still managed to to win everything, except the FA-Cup. All-in-all a great tactic! At the moment my only "problem" is that the team chairman doesnt seem to appreciate me enough and doesnt give in to my requests at all! ;)

I honestly find that leaving it on fitness gets me the best results for some reason, maybe because its a good tactic and I am doing the right things, lost like 5 games in 2 seasons with Spurs

possession will come with time and gelling of the tactic, squad harmony etc :)

set tackling to normal not aggressive

remember players also have certain stats themselves which supersede any of the settings
 
i'd like to use it with man city please. how do i use it though? it downloads as a php file which doesn't import in the game. help!!

they are not rar'd or zipped, the original tactic in the OP and the ones above are all .tac files mate, and should be imported..

are you using Mac?

Si, but is a new save game, start today and play friendlys and competed in 4 NPL2 matches and Capital Cup match, this as Burton, Lost in CC and first league game but won three matches in NPL later. Is soon to say, want to observe and talk when played 50% of season, maybe Sunday if time is allowed for me. Sorry if English not so good, try :-)
 
I have a question regarding the inside forwards and the passing style of the team. What if the inside forwards are like Hazard, fast dribbler with good passing and vision. Should I increase his Creative Freedom and Passing Style?
From what I've picked up so far in the thread, you say that the better your team is, the directer the play should be. Is this purely based on the individuals in those positions so that better passers can play directer? (There's a big difference in playing Moses or Oscar on the right, and I do like me players that are great passers)

Well, I also managing Spain U21 and I stuck because when I have to register my squad there is a requirement of 3 GK but there are only 2 GKs available for Spain U21...... when I resigned from the national team, FM still want me to pick the squad :/ I went mad.... so, gonna try with another team I think :(

Tactic klopp 4-2-3-1 looks great but i have problem with my strikers, they don't score. I have Giroud and Walcout.
1.They must be DLF? beacuse dont work for me
2. if they dont must, what best ST role for Giroud and for Walcout?
3. What TM instructions for Giroud and for Walcout?
4. When i can play with for example Poacher i should give him more ofensive in tactic instructions?
5.Who better for this tactic? Big ST or Fast ST?
6.DLP better defend or support?
7. AMR should have more tacitic freedom than AML or this defect?
Pls help me:)

yes you can mate :) the reason I set to short is that it encourages them to run with the ball more and when closer to teamates, they can pass.. if you have direct or very high freedom, they do what they want and make silly passes that get intercepted.. so the short passing makes them run more and does not allow them to play killer balls that would lose possession in the part of the field that you want to have players in and possession :)

yes they will, check their PPM"s...
 
Trying this out on two separate saves just now, doing great in my Liverpool save at the moment. I messed around with a few tactics this season, but settled on this one. It keeps possession well but doesn't seem to create loads of CCC's. I like the style of football for Liverpool though.

Changed my striker to poacher and it seems to be working better than DLF. I assume it's not overly important what role he plays?
