Ended 1st season today in NPL2 with Burton so post a scrrenshot of league table. Was 2nd after 50% of season and ended in 2nd. Had a bad sequence of results after transfer window, was my fault as bring in too many new players, tactic is fantastic and worked for me in lower league!

Changed my striker to poacher and it seems to be working better than DLF. I assume it's not overly important what role he plays?

exactly mate, the DLF is what and how Dortmund play IRL, hence the reason why I made it like that.. changing the striker role is the most important tweak one can make..

I hope the more you use it the better it becomes, keep me posted mate

glad to hear that mate, you do need to get new players in for lower league teams, so dont stress! good luck
 
Raikan, would Maupay work in this tactic? and if i would change the IF roles to WINGERS.. would that destroy the tactic?

yes he would at around 18-19 years old very nicely if progressed properly.. he will still work at the start, but not against teams like Chelsea/City etc if you know what I mean

no it wont as the instructions are set so manually that most of the roles wont change the settings anyway..

I would suggest then setting their (AMR and AML's) wide movement to HUG TOUCHLINE to give you extra width if you are wanting them to perform like Valencia/Navas.. also set crossing to OFTEN
 
i Always forget you do that manual stuff so indeed it would not change a lot. the only problem i see for my team (Monaco) is that my AMR/L more of the type WINGER are then IF. but will use those settings :) thx
 
Hi Raikan! So if i change the striker role to AF for soldado, should i tweak other settings for his role aswell? or do i only have to change the role? :) Sorry for bad english! :)

No the role will change itself :) I have left run with ball and run with deep as manual so when you change it to fit your player it will change to that role..

Example: if you have Llorente, you change to TM - Attack (it will change the settings to run with ball NEVER and run from deep SOMETIMES)

if you change to Poacher - Attack (it will have run with ball and from deep as OFTEN)
 
Thanx for the good and quick answer Raikan! :) I have one more question, when away against tough opponents, do i just put the two cm in to the dm position ? i dont change any roles? :)

What are TM instructions for TargetMan and for Poacher?
AMR must have more tacitic freedom than AML? or i can change this? this dont destroy tactic?
Poacher should have more ofensive mentality in tactic instructions?
WHen I change role for striker i should change other instructions?
When I change role for Striker, this very change team game?
I can change for my DLP role to Suport or thi not good idea?

yeah you can mate, even drop the AMC to CM (AP) and set run from deep to often!

change to balanced and control, maybe even defend with countering ticked

I do not use it away from home that often so I have not found the best settings for it yet.. I always have 3 tactics and use all 3 for different games/comps etc

no because the AMC and DLP will get in each others way, as the AMC is set to never run from deep..

you can by like 1 or 2 clicks if you want to as he will push just that little further upfield..

see what happens if you do :)

Poacher - ball to feet/run onto ball
TM - Mixed

And please, I am no teacher or anything, just call me Neil

I think Master Neil is using this tactic, the DM Madness for tough away games and maybe the 442 for normal away games? :P

leave as is mate, the change of roles will make all the necessary changes to the player settings that is needed for each role you chose whether that being Poacher. AF, TM or DF
