Premiership – Matchday 1

Palace 5-3 Fulham

coventrycity-v-chelsea-4.jpg

Dembele (11, 25), Burdisso (33), Delfouneso (75), Leandro (82) – Speroni O.G. (4), Sidwell (57), Kamara (77)

Three players were missing for the Eagles, Smithies, Turan and Verratti all playing in the Olympics. Speroni came in for a rare start and had a shocker of a game at fault for two of the goals. Bentley, Drenthe, Brown, Leandro, Gunnarsson, Ninis and Witsel all made their debuts with the latter two coming off the bench. Gunnarsson impressed setting up two goals, Drenthe also provided an assist. Leandro will be more than happy to have scored on his debut, the Brazilian show good skill during the game with some great link up play.

Premiership – Matchday 2

Bolton 1-1 Palace

1253976723_spt_ai_blackburnvvilla_12.jpg

N’Zonzi (77) – Leandro (20)

Palace were cruising the first half plus had the added bonus of Smithies returning. A sending off in the second half changed the game, Nathaniel Clyne sent off after 61 minutes for a two footed challenge. Palace defended well but a special strike from N’Zonzi tied the game.

League Cup 2nd Rnd

Palace 4-0 Macclesfield

leandro-damiao.jpg

Burdisso (31), Leandro (51), Hlousek (60, 74)

Palace brushed of the League Two side with ease, Leandro getting his 3rd goal in 3 games since joining, Turan made his debut setting up a goal to the delight of the home fans. An easy game with Palace having over 65% possession, Hlousek was the man of the match with two goals to his name.

Premiership – Matchday 3

Aston Villa 3-2 Palace

Darren-Bent-Aston-Villa-E-007.jpg

Bent (33, pen 69), Dunne (59) – Leandro (65), Dunne O.G. (80)

Scott Loach made a number of great saves early in the game as Dembele tore the Villa defence apart and they could have been 3 or 4 goal behind to Villa before Bent scored. Palace defending poorly leaving huge gaps. Delfouneso had a huge impact coming of the bench and played his part in both of his side’s goals.

Premiership – Matchday 4

Palace 1-1 Newcastle

federico-macheda.jpg

Verkhovtsov (45+2) – Macheda (76)

Another goalkeeping master class this time Krul keeping the Eagles at 1 goal. Newcastle were extremely lucky to get a point making 4 goal line clearances and Palace hitting the post. To the travelling toon army’s delight Macheda sneaked a late equalizer to gain a point with their only shot of the game.

Premiership – Matchday 5

Palace 1-4 Liverpool

pepe-reina_1600298c.jpg

Leandro (33) – Derdiyok (29, 67), Maxi Rodriguez (56), Carroll (86)

A tight game Liverpool didn’t deserve to win by that much but they were clinical. Palace bossed the possession and had tons of chances by Reina was on fire making 12 big saves, his defence helped out with 2 goal line clearances. It seemed anytime Palace did seem set to score Liverpool went on the dirty approach fouling on numerous occasions. Palace are out of luck it seems lately no matter what they do and it is having a massive effect on the confidence of the team.

League Cup 3rd Rnd

Palace 1-2 Arsenal

Hlousek (2) – Verkhovtsov O.G. (76), Maletic (79)

palace_1625187c.jpg

Casey could have been in charge of Arsenal if he hadn’t stayed and after today he bound to wish he hadn’t. Again no luck for the Eagles a horrible defensive mix up lead to the equalizer and then Maletic score the winner with their only shot of the game, so disappointing after such a great performance. Rumours saying Casey was close to resigning.

Premiership – Matchday 6

Man City 2-3 Palace

Nathan-Delfouneso.jpg

Tevez (.6), Dzeko (55) – Hlousek (pen 43), Delfouneso (54, 67)

Palace’s 1st win in 5 games just when they needed it with Casey close to walking out. Extremely tight game either side could of won this game. Delfouneso again playing his heart out, last season’s top scorer Dembele hit the post for the 7th time this season as he seems still to be carrying the sides run of bad luck. It still remains unsure if Casey will remain at the club much longer......

Well done mate and great story! ;)
Are you using your 4-4-2 tactic?

chopping and changing a bit developing it, the 11.3 match engine seems to be running on the save now so having a bit of trouble remolding it

just read all the way thru, a great story, even inspired me to start a palace save

Breaking News

Story will continue this week or Monday night due to college work, the more likes this post gets the sooner it will return. Next update will be a 2 month update .....

Nice. Was hoping that you continue this story :D

Was wondering where the story went, hope it comes back soon.

100% will be coming back... already started playing again. Delay was due to the fact i wanted to try the new patch and the amount of assignments i had due i didn't have time to be typing up the story as well. Hopefully we'll see the Eagles marching on European quests soon.

Premiership – Matchday 7

Wolves 0-3 Palace

gyi0063356387.jpg

Delfouneso (2), Dembele (35, 59)

A big win for Palace against a side they normally find it tricky to beat. Wolves defender Alan Hutton was shown red after 64 minutes but the game was a good as over before this with the Eagles going in at half time 2-0.

Premiership – Matchday 8

Palace 2-1 West Ham

gara-dembele.jpg

Verkhovtsov (35), Dembele (90+2) – Ba (43)

Palace left it late against the Hammers to seal all 3 points today after an injury time goal from Gara Dembele. West Ham surely will look at the sending off of Drissa Diakite for a second yellow on the 85th minute as key to not coming away with a point

Premiership – Matchday 9

Palace 1-3 Arsenal

Samir-Nasri-Arsenal-Fulha-006.jpg

Delfouneso (37) – Nasri (1, 79), Smithies O.G. (7)

Again outclassed buy the Gunners as they ran riot. Arsenal started off with a band 2-0 up after just 10minutes, it could have been more but for poor finishing with only 8 of their 25 shots on target. Nasri stole the show with two stunning strikes.

paulo-henrique-ganso-comemora-gol-do-santos-na-final-do-paulistao-contra-o-santo-andre-1272247939165_615x300.jpg

Cole (pen 36), Lukaku (42), Ganso (78), Kakuta (89) – Burdisso (8, 17)

Another surprisingly close game against the very talented squad that is Chelsea. It wasn’t until 78 minutes in that Chelsea started to pull away after a goal from Ganso. The Eagles had twice as many shots on target but Cech was on fire.

Premiership – Matchday 11

Palace 2-1 Wigan

7403294A348EDBB1C68653553BD.jpg

Dembele (5), Leandro (90+1) – Wallace (41)

Again Palace left it till the drying stages of the game to ****** the points, this time it was Leandro Damiao. The Eagles are starting to get into a habit of late goals which they lacked last season, hopefully this will spearhead them towards Europe.

Premiership – Matchday 12

Sunderland 0-2 Palace

Michael-Owen_2.jpg

Hlousek (61), Owen (82)

A great win for the Eagles at the Stadium of Light as they continue their push for Europe. Michael Owen scored his 1st goal of the season as he proves his still knows where the goal is but the 32 year old faces a lot more competition for a spot in the starting eleven this season.

Premiership – Matchday 13

Palace 5-1 Birmingham

royston-drenthe-13.jpg

Delfouneso (18), Verkhovtsov (42), Dembele (46, 50), Drenthe (90) – Evans (66)

A thumping victory for the Eagles as they impress again, Palace look very strong at home of late. Royston Drenthe managed to get his 1st goal for the club to the delight of his manager.

Premiership – Matchday 14

Everton 2-1 Palace

efc__1278001416_mg.jpg

Parejo (38), Gueye (67) – Medunjanin (53)

A tight game at Goodison today with Palace narrowly losing. The Eagles bench were jumping with joy when Medunjanin equalized but the joy only lasted 15 minutes when Magaye Gueye put Everton back in the lead scoring what turned out to be the winner.

Premiership – Matchday 15

Palace 1-2 Man Utd

Wayne-Rooney.jpg

Delfouneso (29) – Ferdinand (8), Rooney (74)

A close game that Palace were unlucky not to gain anything from this match. Rooney grabbed the winner as United didn’t impress but remain top of the league and unbeaten.

Premiership – Matchday 16

Leeds 1-2 Palace

DavideSomma_2492827.jpg

Somma (57) – Delfouneso (23, 73)

Palace dominated the match despite the narrow victory on paper. Delfouneso impressed with his two goals securing the 3 points.

Premiership – Matchday 17

Palace 2-2 Stoke

atila-turan.jpg

Delfouneso (27, 74) – Faye (58), Jones (80)

Delfouneso again on the scoresheet hitting another two goals, his 1st goal was his 10th goal of the season. Stoke got lucky, scoring from a corner and while Simpson was down injured. Turan was sent off for a second yellow on the 86th minute.

Premiership – Matchday 18

Blackpool 0-4 Palace

delfouneso_1564892c.jpg

Delfouneso (36, 41, 57, 62)

Delfouneso kept up his great form this time scoring an amazing 4 goals bringing his total to 15 goals for the season. Casey went on to say he will be amazed if he doesn’t get an England call up soon.

Premiership – Matchday 19

Tottenham 1-4 Palace

river1.jpg

Modric (20) – Dembele (22), Delfouneso (49), Bounanotte (51), Verkhovtsov (57)

Palace destroyed Spurs at White Heart Lane, Bounanotte got his 1st goal for the club. Palace attacked and attacked after going 1-0 down and never looked back. Juraj picked up an injury coming off with a torn muscle and will miss 6-7 weeks.

Premiership – Matchday 20

Fulham 2-7 Palace

guillermo-burdisso-as-roma-356.jpg

Hoilett (10), Zamora (82) – Delfouneso (2, 85), Dembele (5, 11), Buonanotte (40, 46), Burdisso (55)

Palace go goal crazy again this time scoring 7 goals. Buonanotte kept his place in the side scoring twice, one of which was a wondergoal, Buonanotte ran from half-way past a number of players before chipping the keeper in style.
