After you do one of the McFarlane Ranch missions, Bonnie hands you the rope/lasso to break in some wild horses. Afterwards, you get to keep it for personal use.

I tame wild horses when I need a new mount. The fastest one I've had is the $750 Kentucky Saddler.

Prefer to save my money for properties/weapons.

The double barrel is so beast. What rifle do you use? I use the carbine or springfield.

I use the Springfield as my weapon of choice. I'm planning to get the Bolt-Action rifle soon, for the accuracy and power improvements.

I haven't gotten it in single player yet, but I love the High Power Pistol.

It should be called the Overpowered Pistol.

It really is too powerful.

Ive only just found out that when your wanted,if you stand still with gun holstered you get arrested and jailed rather than shot dead :)

I wondered how you increased the 'Jail Time' stat in the Pause menu.

Got jumped by a pack of wild wolves who ran about and made me shoot my horse.

Me and my horse got jumped and killed by a cougar today :( went to shoot it and ended up pulling out my lasso,i tried to swap it but it was too late :'(

Cougar's do insane damage. Was on Free Roam with my brother and a mate and I got attacked by one from behind without knowing it was there - one hit kill. Bah.

Yeah, that was mad. Happened to me as well. Made me realise how much more health the character has on single-player, as I was attacked by one of them and survived; however on multi-player, I suffered the same fate as Ian. :(

I've only played two games of Poker, and won them both. It isn't difficult if you know the rules. They succumb to bluffs fairly regularly, and if they don't fold, you know they have a hand.

Liar's Dice is where the real money is made. Head to Thieves Landing and give it a go. It costs $200 per game, but you win $200 back from each player you beat.

Liar's Dice is the most reliable income from gambling. I'm not sure if it's the best source overall.
