Any other info: The team is based in a portuguese city called Castelo Branco, which literally translates in english to White Castle.

I'm thinking about the club as the merge of two existing city clubs: Sport Benfica e Castelo Branco (affiliated to SL Benfica) and Desportivo Castelo Branco (this one has a badge very similar to city's coat of arms).

I would like to try a badge where you take out the cycling wheel from Benfica's badge and include the castle from Deportivo's badge. On the strip beneath the eagle, the tag "E pluribus unum" should be replaced by "Uma Cidade, Um Clube" (means: one city, one club), keeping the colours green and red (as they represent the portuguese flag).

The acronymous "S.B.C.B." should be replaced by "ALBI CF" or "ALBI" with the CF going somewhere else on the badge.

Excepting for the strip, all the other features should be black and/or white.

Feel free to add some details of your own.

I have an iMac and I use the Paint Pro program from the Mac App Store, which only costs £12.99. I don't know whether it exists for PC but you just need a graphics package that allows you work with transparency and layers.

"Blank ones" — I think you're asking about logo templates. Search online for "shield outline" or "shield vector". I also take large versions of real club logos and blank out the content so I can use the basic shape as a template for my own logos. Arsenal, Manchester City, Inter Miami, etc. For the logo above, I had a large version of the Sevilla logo and I redrew the outline using curved lines.

I found this vector of a stag with a crown around his neck — better than mounting a disembodied head like a hunting trophy! I went with the green and black colour ways in the background, as per the Cannock Coat of Arms, but I've sampled the yellow from the graphic for the text.
