Romsey Town FC Takeover - BAP


The Pre-Season Domination Continues

Well the Romsey Town fans probably can't believe what their seeing. There team has played two games and scored twenty goals! The club who now only posess young players have played simply brilliantly in the past two pre-season games. They have only played two weaker teams but that's what you want when you play a weaker team, a big win!
Allen Johnson has rotated well and every player has had their time to shine. San Freebody has scored two hattricks and James Williams and Michael Mccabe have impressed at the back.

Pre-Season Matchday 3

Romsey Town V Brockenhurst

Allen Johnson will be disappointed that both Sam Smith and Nathan Walker conceded in this match allowing Brockenhurst two score two goals which really they didn't deserve. The romsey defence lost concentration twice and were penalised for it twice. Johnson will need to keep an eye on his defences team as they prepare for the upcoming campaign. Jamie Salvi scored and equalled Billy Bryant's amount of four goals scored in a single game and Fran Gozalbo scored two. Romsey really do have some talent up front and it will be difficult for the team to decide who will be starting come the first day of the season.

Pratik Sangle, Andy Samuels and Billy Bryant scored the rest of the goals for Romsey who looked strong passing the ball and strong while holding it. Andreas Naterr played impressively aswell and he and Andy Welsh will both be wanting that starting spot when Romsey start the season.

Apparently I make an amazing left back, in both the BaPs I'm in as a LB I'm killing it. I'm a terrible striker though apparently, so I guess it reflects real life in that sense.

Romsey Town Round Up Pre-Season Unbeaten

Kai Mclean will have been impressed with his side so far. Thirty goals have been scored in three games and only two have been conceded. the 'Town' will be going into the campign brimming with confidence and with these results their oppoenents must be worried about the talent that Romsey have found over the summer. With the Southern Football League Divison 1 South and West league only one game away it looks like the club might have a special season.

Pre-Season Matchday 4

Romsey Town V Totton & Eling

The Romsey crowd were in shock after twenty minutes of this game as the score remained 0-0. The 'Town' who have been dominating in recent games were being held and were being outplayed! That was unitil Scott Trowers scored a screamer from the edge of the area. Yuri Belenov crossed in a great ball to Trowers who took one touch and then smashed the ball into the Totton & Eling net. Belenov was shortly afterward injured and taken off but luckily it wasn't a serious injury and more of a knock.

The second half saw Romsey taking more of a stranglehold of the game as they looked to take the game to their opponents. After an embarrasing own goal Totton & Eling were soon behind further after Andy Samuels and John Cruddas scored in quick sucession. Michael Mccabe and Conor De Souza were fantastic at the back and will be pleased by their performances.


Michael Cwian Injured 4-5 Weeks

Michael Cwian finished the game against Totton & Eling but felt some discomfort soon after the full time whistle. He was immediately sent to Romsey Hospital where it was discovered that he had picked up a groin strain.

Are you Trowers? You'll be getting game time mate you all will. I'll have to think about it as I haven't thought about it.
 

Nathan Walker Injured 2-3 Weeks

Nathan Walker has suffered a strained neck after challenging for the ball in training. This now makes Allen Johnson's mind up about who will start in goal for the first game of the season as Sam Smith is Romsey Town's only other goalkeeper. Walker seemed disappointed about the injury but said he wouldn't let it get him down too much and that he was glad he would only be out of action for a couple of weeks.

Right thats me off for the night guys... I'm pooped. I am going to cheekily play the first game of the season before bed. Hope your enjoying it.

And are you playing with AMCs or MCs? I am just thinking which of my attributes need to be trained, but it depends where I'll be playing... (Scott Trowers btw)

Lovin' it! 3 starts, 2 hattricks and 2 MOTMs! Unbelievable Geoff, if only I was this good in real life! :D

Sam Freebody here, my agility, creativity and positioning are my worst stats so training those might be good, cheers. Loving the story so far btw!
