Lets ****** hope so ay :)

Really Calum, Your worse then some of these scousers You expect a miracle or something, whats next Kenny to turn Water into Wine....

You said you expect them to Finish 7th and Win the Europa league? So, Suddenly there under performers are going to play at there peak and stuff, behave,

So they get rid of a manager who has a very similar record in the first 20 games to the previous manager (who set them back 20 years, yet whom they loved) and replace him with a bloke who hasn't managed in 10 years or so and left them in a parlous state before. Carlsberg don't make laughing stocks, but if they did...........

benitez didnt set them back 20 years... and i'd harldy call them laughing stocks. They are cerrently in a bad way, i expect things to be very different next season, rather be in their state than yours TBH, and i despise liverpool

Set us back 20 years? He brought us success, and great memories. Kenny left a very good team for SOUNESS to ruin, he only left because of Hillsbrough. You call us a laughing stock yet you support Everton?

they'd call it Everton again.

Here's Hodgson's record achievements in six months managing Liverpool:

Liverpool lost 8 matches after 18 match rounds in the league for the first time since 1964/1965.

The last time Liverpool had fewer points at turn of the year was in 1953/54 … the season they were relegated.

After the first five games of the season, Liverpool recorded its worst start to a season since 1992-93.

Liverpool suffered its first loss to Blackpool at Anfield since 1967.

Liverpool’s first loss to Stoke in 26 years.

Liverpool’s first-ever loss in its entire history to fourth division opposition (Northampton in September).

Liverpool suffered only their second-ever loss to Wolves at home in 60 years.

For a period this season Liverpool has been mired in bottom-three relegation zone for first time since 1984.

he worst winning percentage (41.38%) for a Liverpool manager since 1959, edging Graeme Souness’ 41.4% in 1991-94.

The first Liverpool manager to win fewer than six of his first 18 league games in charge since George Kay only won five back in 1936.

Anyways, are you lot still calling for Moyes' head? How's the rebuilding of Woodison going? Able to afford bricks this time? ;)

Im not going to sit here and tell you what he will do, but, he won't play hoof ball to Torres, he wont play Meireles on the wing, well basically, he won't do what roy did.

Any sympathy i had for Roy initially, disappeared when he stuck merieles out on the right....

Oh stop being so serious, it was clearly a joke, which wouldn't have worked without the exaggerations. An Everton fan not allowed to make a Liverpool joke in their time of turmoil, without resorting to comparisons in reply. Jheez lighten up, I thought it was funny.

Being a Celtic fan, I REALLY want Kenny to do well and get the full time position as Liverpool Manager. Albeit it might not happen, it would still be good to see.

I hope Roy does exactly what he did after the Blackburn debacle and manages abroad, only coming back to england for a job that feels right.

I'll even admit he's done a poor job at Liverpool, but his tenure there was the definition of untenable. Ah well, the fans have got their man.

i think he actually let himself down more than anything. why stick to a way that isnt working for four months? why turn torres into some sort of aerial targetman?

With Rafa, you could at least work out what he was trying to do. What Mr.Hodgson (who claimed credit for signing him) was trying to do, I honestly don't know. He even went on record to say he didn't know where to play him. Might be that he didn't have sufficient authority to impose himself upon the dressing room and insist certain players do certain things - Benitez had similar issues with certain players, and ultimately it played a part in last season's events.

Been reading through some of Kenny's more recent thoughts on tactics. One of the interesting ones is where he describes how England should try playing:

It's kind of like a lopsided diamond - very similar to how Brazil had been playing in many ways too.

Got my mind ticking over anyways - it's pretty much how we thought Benitez was going to be taking the team when he was in for Barry/Keane and then when he went out to buy Aquilani.

Not sure how it would work though unless the right winger was willing to tuck back in defence because Gerrard can switch off defensively at the worst possible times. But meh..

lucky for liverpool fans that roy has gone although for me as a man utd fan i would of liked u to suffer at his hands tommorow but u know..... good luck tommorow (u don't stand a chance)

it would only really work if the right winger was milner

Didnt realise he went on record about Meireles, thats shocking especially since he takes credit for signing him.
