Gone! Away back to the center today for its final jabs ect before being put up for re-homing. Missing the little dude already. Its just not the same trying to do transfers and watch the world cup is not the same without constant distractions like screens suddenly flipping, turning off or balloon flying across the room

not forgetting your cushions getting attacked!!!!

Season 11 - 2023/24

Targets

SPL - Win
Scottish Cup - Win
Scottish League Cup - Youth Side
Europe - CL last 16

I expect us to retain the League since for once i hung onto my best players. Also aiming to get through to the Champions League last 16 for the 1st time to avoid another Europa League final heartbreak if nothing else

The Scottish forward started at Hibs before wasting 8 seasons at Tottenham failing to break into the side. He'll fight Love but will probably be my back up.

Alex-Ray Appleton - MC

A Man Utd youth player which is a good start. Had a reasonable season on loan at Celtic a few years back so we'll see how he's advanced since then.

Still impossible to split the top 2 or the battle for 3rd. Aberdeen and Motherwell both to finish outside the top 6? QOTS big favorites to finish bottom. Will be interesting to see how St Johnstone have regrouped.

This squad is utterly stacked! We could field 3 teams that would do well in the SPL. Would be to unsure of playing my back up 11 and challenging for the title. Anyway the only major change here is Appleton starting in the midfield.

A tricky kind of draw considering were now 2nd seeds. Shaktar were the best team of the 3rd seeds but Steaua's place in the group should secure at least a Europa League spot.

Celtic also get a tough group with Juventus and Bilbao in there way but like ourselves the quality of Standard should secure at least a Europa League spot

Long serving Gary Locke is sacked after loosing 3-1 to us leaving them 7th. Motherwell boss Steve Clarke is his replacement
Victory against Steaua secures a last 16 spot but a 1-0 defeat in Paris will leave us in 2nd spot on away goals as it stands.

On the wings Marques has struggle with injurys while Tidman is adding goals to his assists and has been the better of the two wingers this term.

Our gap is now over 20 points and the title is all but ours. Will be using the league to rest key players now with big European and Cup games taking priority over a canter to the title. Things would have been very different had we still been unbeaten. Still plenty of battles from 2nd to 10th. 11th and 12 look doomed. In facts St Johnstone still have no points.

Ourselves and Celtic were guilty of the top 4 transfers as we sold off more players. Celtic however got rid of two overrated young midfielders for £11m and £2m. No transfers in of note. SPL Review

Dundee Utd - 8/10 - Our most dominant title win so far. We were 12 points clear after 12 games and the rest never got that close again. Unfortunatly we fell short of 100+ goal difference and a record points which we equalled.

Celtic - 6/10 - No trophys and a huge drop off in the League. Very little possitives from our rivals this season.

St Mirren - 7/10 - Finished in 3rd but until the very late stages of the season they were in the fight for 2nd. Prove our sternest rivals this season.

Hibs - 7/10 - Hibs lost there top players over the past 2 summers but this year they overcame that to return to the top 4.

Aberdeen - 7/10 - Nothing wrong with returning to the top 6. Strikers Andrew Shinnie and Lewis Morgan took them to the top. A league cup final victory cemented a successful season.

Rangers - 5/10 - After showing glipses of moving on further forward Rangers digressed by the end of the season to loose not only a Cup final but a poor 6th place hardly in touch with the higher placed teams.

Hearts - 5/10 - A poor start cost Gary Locke his job which is very unfair after he rebuilt this mess of a club. Made a few brilliant signing during the summer but they were left in the hands of Steve Clarke and a bottom half finish and a cup final mauling bring nothing but shame.

Ross County - 6/10 - Ross County have another season of overachieving. Two reasons for this. Loaning a 30 goal striker from QPR and the bottom two side being abysmal.

Motherwell - 5/10 - Speaking of abysmal Motherwell fall back into the bottom half. Loosing there manager to Hearts was not a good start but they were already in trouble at that stage and new boss Paul McGowan failed to turn it around

Inverness CT - 4/10 - As did Allan McGregor who lost his job after bringing ICT into the relegation zone. Malky Mackay will have to work hard this summer to turn it around.

QOTS - 4/10 - Somehow Craig Levein kept the doonhammers in the top flight. I was certain the Championship side would overcome a team that was pulled apart in the SPL but no such luck and QOTS will live to fight another day

St Johnstone - 2/10 - Never showed up. Suffered the worst SPL season points haul ever!
