Season 12 Review
I take over Aberdeen
View attachment 365155
Since the Stadium was announced i felt Dundee Utd were significantly better than Celtic in the SPL and the time was come to rebuild another side. I felt all of last season that Aberdeen and Rangers would sack there managers if either was to go it had to be McCoist for almost relegating Rangers but Alan Thompson walked out of Pittodrie with 2 games to go so i applied then delayed till the end of season where i accepted there £3,800 a week deal.
Ally McCoist still has his job. Words really fail me
Dunfermline survive the play offs with a thumping win over Livinston

SPL - Winner
Scottish cup - Winner
Scottish League Cup - Winner
Europe - Champions League - Quarter Finals
Our League form on the whole was brilliant. Slowed up towards the end with youth getting a shot and big European & Cup games getting in the way but im delighted to leave Dundee Utd with a treble.
Key Player
Niclas Tidman

It was going to one of my wingers and the Ave Rating decided Tidman was the better man so his 24 assists and 18 goals in enough to get my star player award.

SPL Review
Dundee Utd - 9/10 - Our most dominant title win last time this time was even more conclusive. 106 points from a possible 114, 38 points clear at the top. Finally perfected the tactic to let Saflekos and the wingers make the goals for Love. The treble was the icing on the cake and Only Man Utd proved a class above us this season and we even beat them at tanadice.
Celtic - 6/10 - No trophys again loosing to United in both cup competitions. Miles behind in the SPL just stumbling ahead of St Mirren on goal difference on the final day. So much work needed here!
St Mirren - 8/10 - Finished in 3rd again but this season they pushed Celtic to the limit and beyond. Came so close to getting a Champions League spot but it was more to do with Celtic being bad than St Mirren being good but kudos non the less.
Hearts - 7/10 - A far better season for Steve Clarke. Rumors linking him with taking my old job at Dundee Utd disgust me however.
Inverness CT - 6/10 - Malky Mackay turned the tides of recent seasons and dragged Inverness back into the top 6. Getting the Best out of Cammy Smith up top was the difference!
Ross County - 7/10 - Ross County were the second highland side to fight above there weight to comfortably end up in the top 6, 10 points above going into the split. A solid team effort with goals coming from all over the park.
Aberdeen - 5/10 - Not many of these players will be having a long term future with myself at the helm. Lots of work to do here and thats without looking too deep into our problems. ONly a brilliant run at the end of the year made there final position more respectable than the 9th and 10th they had been through the year.
Hibs - 6/10 - Hibs finally suffered from selling there best players as they struggle in the bottom half all year.
Motherwell - 5/10 - Paul McGowans first full year in charge saw little or no improvement for the steelmen. Rab Eastons 16 goals kept them out of relegation problems.
Rangers - 1/10 - This was humiliating. This was the job i aspired to get this summer despite a huge hatred of them in real life i can not believe they have stuck with McCoist again after finishing 2 points above relegation. No manager deserves such faith!
Dunfermline - 4/10 - They came close to going right down but just had the edge over QOTS all year. Then in the play offs they had the better of Livingston to have another shot at the SPL next year wwhich i am grateful for as its less editing to write a review about a black team.
QOTS - 4/10 - Craig Levein couldnt work miracles again although he almost did. The Championship is where this outfit belongs.
Champions League Final
Barcelona 1-1 Ath Madrid - Barca win on Pens

The Conqureres of Man Utd deserved the win overall. The retiring Messi didnt get a run out for his final match. here he is at the end of his time.
