Falkirk showed their quality in the first half and showed Glenrothes some harsh reality. They will be disappointed with the defeat which brings their amazing run to an end, but they shouldn't forget their great achievements until this game. They should bounce back.

The Glens were unlucky in defeat here, a freak own goal gave Hearts all three points. Marcao was very embarressed about the incident after the game, he was reassured not too worry about it too much as these thing happen.

Fantastic finishing display from Boyd and Ramsay gave Glenrothes the win here. The team are looking really good at the moment.
Three wins and a draw in November sees Glenrothes go second in the league!
Rangers are expected to catch up through their games in hand but this is still an incredible performance from Glenrothes. Thinking back to last season, after the Glen had a good start, their form dipped slightly - can the team say strong and focused an fight it out with the big dogs? Celtic look too far ahead to catch... what are we talking about!?!? Glenrothes should really even be in this end of the table, measuring up against Celtic and ahead of Rangers.

Duran(18)Eder(23)
The manager saw this fixture as an opportunity to rest many key players and give the fringe players a chance of some competitive football. They came away with the win which is the important thing but they still looked good as a team considering they don't regularly play together.
Celtic 2 – 1 Glenrothes 18th December 2013

Henrique(24)Rodriguez(90+3) – Formica(6 )
Glenrothes looked like grabbing a point at Celtic Park but Rodriguez broke Glens hearts with the last kick of the game. One things for sure, people better start taking notice of Glenrothes now, the looked strong in parts of the game against a vastly superior side.

Ramsay(13)
An early Ramsay goal put Glenrothes back on the winning path as the end the year on a high.
Glenrothes are still 2nd in the league and staying on pace for a possible European place next season!
Going into 2014, Glenrothes is in great shape, riding high in the SPL1 and still competiting in both cup competition. It is a stark contrast to what we witnessed here over four years ago when Brown took charge as manager. There wasn't really a squad but now they really could be part of the top clubs in Scotland.
