In the Premier League it's definitely Van der Vaart. Not only because of his performances but for the fact that he was a catch considering the price Real put on him. Boy, Real must be feeling like a bunch of nit-wits now, eh?

But the best signing in the world so far is without doubt Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Milan(I know, not an official signing and he is just a loan but I consider it to be a full transfer since Barca won't take him back and Milan won't let him go to another club). He is the star player there and without him on the pitch, Milan loses a lot of play and quality immidiately. He has been their most important player this season and they wouldn't be where they are without him.
