That's great but the United one shows there's an employment bug in this game since I've seen people get the England job after achieving very little.
Yea.Any other version when I declared an interest in United its being laughed off. Turns out both St Mirren and United kept their managers so I'll almost certainly be starting the season with the Shire in Div Two

Season Two

East Stirlingshire – Scottish Division Two

After massively overachieving last season and gaining a much unexpected promotion, this season must surely be about consolidation. Rangers again should be favourites for the league and anywhere above the relegation places will do us I think.

I’ll also be keeping a close on the job centre this season as well. Should the St Mirren or Aberdeen job became available I will must certainly be throwing my name into the mix. Spending too long at East Stirlingshire with such limited resources will not help me get to Old Trafford!

Before the season started I was presented with the Scottish Third Division Manager of the Year to my great surprise given that Rangers completely destroyed the league failing to win only 5 games, 4 of which were against us ( P4 W2 D2 L0).

Transfers

With most of our squad out of contract decisions had to be made regarding who to keep and who to replace ahead of our step up in the leagues. Ultimately most decisions were taking out of my hands as very few players were interested in joining us and those that did weren’t really good enough. Anywho, these we some of our better signings…

An improvement but they’re certainly no Messi’s!

And one youth graduate who could make some appearances this season...

A step up in class?? Are you sure? The lads have taken to the second division superbly. And only an extra time defeat to SPL side Kilmarnock took the gloss off our start to the season. Now we are out of Div Three I don’t take much notice of the Challenge Cup. Our goals are greater than that and it is a competition we will use too blood some youngsters.

How the others are doing…

St Mirren – 9th in SPL and on a three game losing streak. Their boss narrowly avoided the sack towards the end of last year and unless form picks up a poosible job could open up.

Aberdeen – 4th in SPL and out of Europe already. Prediction of 2nd so also under performing.

Man Utd – 7th but only played twice. Won UEFA Super Cup on pens v PSG

More poor home form. The same as last year. Perhaps we are preparing ourselves wrong and its certainly something I’m going to have to look at. We remain top however and we’ll aim to stay in the mix as long as possible

How the others are doing…

St Mirren
– 11th in SPL. P3 W0 D2 L1
Aberdeen – 2nd in SPL. P5 W3 D0 L2
Man Utd – 11th in EPL. P5 W3 D1 L1

Our luck versus Rangers ran out at last and we suffered our first defeat against them in 5 meetings. The home hoodoo remains even though we should have really emerged victorious from that match. Second behind Rangers is not to shabby though!

How the others are doing…

St Mirren – 11th in SPL. P3 W1 D0 L2
Aberdeen – 2nd in SPL. P3 W2 D0 L1
Man Utd – 12th in EPL. P6 W3 D0 L3

You could be on the move soon and you got manager of the year because you did well against Rangers and since your team was supposed to come bottom and you won promotion while Rangers won but there achievement wasn't the same. Hope that made sense. You're doing alright at the moment I think.

More updates after the full game release tonight/tomorrow. Heopfully a few of the bugs are ironed out. Incredibly frustrating having a much better away record than home record even though I'm using a very offensive tactic!

St Mirren – 6th in SPL, performing above expectations
Aberdeen – 2nd in SPL, meeting current expectations
Man Utd – 14th in EPL, way way below expectations. Can Fergie survive??

Man United 14th? You may end up skipping St Mirren AND Aberdeen at this rate

NO ONE!!

Alex Ferguson Programme Notes

Diabolical!! Embarrassing!! Shipping 6 against Forfar was bad but losing 4-0 at home to our derby rivals is completely unacceptable. Some defenders are out of contract this season and I can tell you now that no one will be offered a new one!

How the others are doing…

St Mirren – 9th in SPL, still above expectations but in poor form
Aberdeen – 2nd in SPL, meeting expectations but Dundee Utd and Inverness CT are closing in fast
Man Utd – 12th in EPL, slight upturn in form but still shocking

Manager of the month is a nice surprise considering I haven’t slept in weeks because of our schoolboy defending!

How the others are doing…

St Mirren – 5th in SPL, storming up the league.
Aberdeen – 3rd in SPL, now below expectations. Craig Brown out!!
Man Utd – 6th in EPL, 4 straight wins but still way off the pace. Fergie out!?!?!
