You've done really well at St. Mirren and congrats on getting Aberdeen. You do realise you could have skipped Aberdeen this time like St. Mirren in previous saves.

FERGUSON RE-EMERGES AT LAST!!!!!!!! IN MANCHESTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manchester United have dramatically announced that the infamous Alex Ferguson, who had recently disappeared off the face of the earth after walking out on Aberdeen, will become their new manager following the sacking of Fatih Terim.

Furious Aberdeen board members and fans have demanded answers. They want to know why Ferguson left the club so early or even why he took charge in the first place! The Dons chairman is even threathening to sue Ferguson and Manchester United as he is convinced Ferguson had been tapped up by the United board.

FERGUSON PRESS CONFERENCE

At the busiest, most chaotic press conference ever seen newly appointed Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has attempted to defend himself.

Listen! There was no tapping up. No mental breakdown. No religious cult. This is simply too good an opportunity to turn down. I feel sorry for Aberdeen and their fans. It was just bad timing is all. Had Fatih Terim been sacked 10 days earlier we wouldn't be in this situation. I can only hope we can all move on with our lives and careers. After all its only a ****** game of football!

lol No sooner had I accepted the Aberdeen job then up pops a news article: Utd manager sacked! I applied for a laugh not thinking I'd get it but unbelievably I did! Would have preferred to have spent longer at Aberdeen but what can you do!

First off, I resigned as Scotland manage in order to concentrate on returning Man Utd back to the top of English and European football. They went 8 years without a league title which is completely unacceptable, even more so when considering Man City won 7 of those 8 titles!

When I took over the club were down..

..but not out. Confident from my blistering start to the season with St Mirren (and my whole 2 games with Aberdeen (6)) I had full faith I could turn the club around.

My initial objectives were to get back into the top 4 as quickly as possible. We were still in the Champions League and FA Cup so a good run in both would be nice but the league is the priority.


LEAGUE

As it developed we just missed out on a top 4 finish - I was left with too much to do and the players took a while to adjust to my tactics. Of course we should have been alarmed at our failure to get Champions League football via our league performances. However cups have proven to be my speciality (as shown in Scotland) and we managed to book our place in next years Champions League by sensationally WINNING IT!! Poor old Chelsea. Just like Moscow - so close yet so far.

We comfortably won the league - our first league title in 9 long years thus ending Man City's recent dominance.

Cheers. I might restart it on the full version of the game. More input over training etc and more youth team players than in FMC
