A below par month for our standards. A dissapointing defeat against Rochdale and a few dismal draws. We got beat by Bristol City in the FA Cup but there challenging promotion in the league above so we can have no complaints.​

The club made a profit of £1.82M last month.​

Summary: The month was going perfectly until the final two games. I think some of the boys think the gap at the top is so big that the season is done and that we are champions already. I want the boys to keep winning and extend that lead.​

Season Summary:
N-Power League One - 1st: I Thought we peformed perfectly to expectations this year. We looked comfortable from the first game to the last. We never looked like not getting promoted. 114 points is fantastic.
FA Cup - 3rd Round: I was dissapointed with our peformance in the FA Cup, however we did get Bristol City in the Third Round and you can understand why they knocked us out.
League Cup - Quarter Final: Our League Cup Campaign was fantastic, to beat the likes of Birmingham and Portsmouth is fantastic, to be knocked out by Man City isnt too bad.
Johnstone Paint Trophy - Lost Final: I was deepy dissapointed with our peformance in this cup. We were strong favourites in the final but the boys just didnt turn up.​

Saints Win League One
Southampton have won the League One comfortably to get promoted to the Championship, although favourites from the start Gary Megson is being praised by Saints fans and board. Megson has also signed a new contract keeping him until 2014.
