My early results with the 4-4-2 are very promising. 3 matches, 3 wins with league 2 Cambridge, including a win at Southampton in the league cup.

With this tactic my success finally came back. Thank you ---- 4-4-2

Love the 442 v2. Changed the Throw-Ins, because I do not like the long throws, so this might have made the tactic less efficient. Still overachieving though.

4411 is also a great one.

So I have been playing with 1.FC Köln in Bundesliga in my second season. First season I was using my own tactic, finished 11th. Media prediction for the second season was 11th again. I have been using kung fu 442 v2 only. Every match. Literally plug'n'play, no SUS or something. Only change were the throw-ins, because I do not like the long throws. So I changed them to the one the 4411kung fu uses. So possibly I lost some efficiency there.

That's how it went:

My team is far from beeing great. I lost my goalkeeper Timo Horn to a club in Saudi-Arabia, even though i locked in to sell him only after the season ends. But he still was gone at the end of September (I guess it is a bug). After that, my best player Jonas Hector got injured for 6 months (!). My average CA 127 and PA 144 (for all the players in my squad) shows you, that my team is mediocre at best.

The longer the season went, the better we got. Really fun and realistic tactic!

Why do I like the tactic?

1. it's a realistic formation.
2. It plays beautiful football -> against good teams you will see devastating counter attacks, against teams that park the bus you will see great action in their box.
3. you score a lot.
4. you don't conceide much.

has anyone moved the wide midfielders further up the pitch? if so, what instruction/play style?

Wow. Having so much fun with a VERY mediocre (first season in the Prem) Millwall team. Will post results once season has ended. Beat Southampton 9-3 and won 3-1 at Anfield!

Tactic test: 4312 v2

What can I say, this tactic made my team perform in a RIDICULOUS way!
Managed to win everything on my second season at Rennes. Since its quite a rich team, i bought using a lot of instalments many good youngsters over 3 transfer sessions. Brenner is an absolute BEAST with this tactic! 70 seasonal goals!!!! with Daka they scored 115 goals + Macias 29 goals on rotation between those two monsters.
Another hidden gem is De la Cruz. argentinian bagain that you can buy first season for a few mils.

What tactic did you used?

As promised here is the breakdown of my Millwall season. This was the first season in the Premier League after a 2nd Placed finish in the Championship the year previous. I had 35m to spend, and I had to spend it wisely. As you can see from my transfers, there were not any 'world class' players. In fact it was extremely difficult to tempt anyone to sign for me. Most of my transfers included instalments, hence why on my transfers page it states 65m.

The season started quite rough, I continued to play the tactic I used in the previous season and it just wasn't working. So I turned to the 4-4-2 here.

Feel free to ask any questions, but a 5th placed finish is absolutely insane - and it means I qualified for the Europa League too! With a couple of quality additions in the closed season, who knows where this tactic can take me?!

Hlozek is an absolute beast and a steal at 5m! 26 goals in 20 games (and signed in Jan!)
