I wish updates wouldn't affect tactics.

use Knaps Venom and Faith 442 103pts tactic. better tactic, still works

I didnt have any success with 442 at all. 4231 seemed to work much better for me

v2 but its outperformed by 442v2 at my version in all tests.

Second season from the one above with no interuption on the Holiday mode and no transfers, so far :

EPL - Aston Vila 5th

Serie A its not performing so well but same no transfers and in holiday mdoe

442 V3 quick holiday test with Brighton.

For me so far 4312 dlp in all tests outperforms the rest of the tactics. But it really depends on the team and sesason. 442v3 struggles in Serie A while in EPL is good. 4312 dlp is great in all leagues.

When I test I choose : 3 teams that are expected to get relegated in Serie A, EPl, La Liga with 3 different tactics.

Brighton and Verona have a good squad that always do good with all tactics.

West Brom, Spezia are the ones to be tested because they have poor squads and they preform the best with 4312 dlp

But lets continue testing

Relegation is the media prediction for Brighton. The 442v2/v3 and 4312 dlp make the strikers score A LOT.

But actually Brighton and Veron are hidden game from the relegation teams they always preform with the tactics.

I’ve been using the 442 v2 with Newcastle. Got them into the CL and won the League cup. Lost FA Cup final to United. But second season has died a death basically since the update. Trying out v3 now, hopefully it works out

found the centre midfielders totally ineffective in v2 though. Never got ratings above 6.6.

You are right there, I test with Parma and 442 V3 has too many draws but 4312 DLP work very well. In EPL 442 V3 is really good I did another test with Leicester and won the league with 90 pts.
