Absolutely gutted. Two nil up after 68 minutes, completely on top of the game.. and we throw it away!! I was furious with the lads! Doumbia did fantastically to put us ahed and then McCarthy doubled our advantage to send the home fans made. Coutinho then scored after forsters save from a free kick landed at his feet with an open net ahead of him, and then Firmino walked straight through our whole defence to level it late on. Should have been three points. Our arch rivals have even managed to hinder us further by putting Doumbia out of action for two weeks leaving Fischer as our only senior option up front.

Disappointing but not the end of the world. We were outclassed by a good Madrid side and let the game slip out of our hands within 10 minutes. Barbosa and Alcacer got the goals for Atletico and even worse was an injury for Deulofeu which will keep him out for a couple of weeks.

Distraught. How on earth did this happen? it is very likely to have spelt the end of some careers at the club. Phil Jagielka was at fault for 3 of the goals and finished with a match rating of 4.7... he is not getting any younger and with Mori complaining about his lack of football, Jags will be dropped indefinitely. Seamus Coleman is another at fault with a match rating of 5.6. This is the final straw after a run of really poor form and young Mason Holgate will get a run in the side. We cant afford to let this hit us too hard, sometimes these things just happen in football.

Our confidence is absolutely shot at the moment and our defence is leakier than a chocolate teapot. An early Kevin Mirallas goal should have given us huge confidence but just five minutes later we allowed Riyad Mahrez to score two in three minutes to put Leicester ahead. Luckily Seydou Doumbia (returning in this match) grabbed a good goal to level the scores and it stayed that way for the rest of the match. Once again our domination is failing to turn itself into results.

Another dull draw, this time at Molineux as we were held by Wolves. A much better defensive effort saw us keep a good clean sheet away from home but this time it was a lack of bite up front that worried us. Doumbia picked up yet another injury and will miss the next three weeks, luckily Lukaku is just coming back from his broken arm so we shouldnt be short.

Much better! a superb performance against a good Newcastle side to get us back on track. Two goals for Viktor Fischer and one apiece for Deulofeu and Mori saw us smash four past a poor defence and well and truly get the monkey off our backs when it comes to poor form.

We started the defence of our FA Cup against Watford in what was a very good game. Deulofeu and Lukaku grabbed the goals for us as we left it late to ****** the draw and force the replay back at Goodison park. It means an extra fixture in an already packed schedule but at least were not out.

Our squad is a very strong one, and the only priority in the transfer window is replacing any players that want to leave through lack of football.

Out.

Diego Reyes - Udinese - £6.75 mil

Christian Atsu - Lazio - £7.5 mil

Brendan Galloway - Norwich - Loan

I allowed Reyes and Atsu to leave the club as they were both well down the pecking order, unhappy and worth some money. Brendan Galloway I felt needed to get some first team experience to progress so was pushed out on loan. This meant that there was a need for a quality centre back, a central midfield option and a wide man.

In.

Eliaquim Mangala - Man City - £5 mil

Jack Wilshere - Arsenal - Loan

Karim Bellarabi - Valencia - Loan

I am really pleased with the shape of our squad now. Mangala will be the perfect fit at centre back alongside Romagnoli while Jack Wilshere can challenge both Barkley and McCarthy for the playmaking roles and Besic and Kondogbia for the anchor role. Karim Bellarabi is a pacey winger who is a like for like replacement for Atsu for the rest of the season.

Another brilliant result as we claim the scalps of both Manchester club in consecutive Premier League games. Lukaku gave us an early lead which Barkley doubled and from then on it proved just too much for City to break down. City absolutely dominated the 2nd half and Aguero claimed a goal back but it proved to be no more than a consolation as we stubbornly held on with Mangala putting in a terrific display against his former club on his debut for his new club.

Through to the next round of the FA Cup with a comfortable enough win against Watford. Home advantage definitely helped us out as we gave a much improved performance from the first tie. Mirallas and Lukaku grabbed our goals and although Deeney got a consolation, we saw the game out comfortably.

A simply stunning performance against Stoke kept up our incredible form. Lukaku was the star of the show with two goals and an assist as he helped us absolutely thrash Stoke. Fischer, Wilshere and Besic were also amongst the goals and the new centre back partnership of Romagnoli and Mangala is continuing to work a treat!

We were perhaps a little unfortunate to lose out on this one, but Iker Muniain showed his class to score a good goal and consign us to defeat. We were wasteful in front of goal which cost us on this occasion. I am keeping a very close eye on the situation at Chelsea as Andre Villas-Boas is failing once more during his second spell in charge.

We are now through to the 5th round of the FA Cup after a confident 4-1 win against Palace. Another two goals from Lukaku as well as a Romagnoli effort and an own goal had us 4-0 up inside the opening half an hour. From then on it was a case of coasting through to the end of the match.

A crucial win that could spell the end for Villas-Boas at Stamford Bridge. Duelofeu opened the scoring for us as we dominated the game and then Romelu Lukaku netted against his former club to make it more comfortable. James McCarthy then gave away a penalty which Hazard netted, but by that point it was too late and the points were ours.

We never seem to be as good away from home. A draw against Crystal Palace is all we could manage, despite dominating the chances in the match. Lukaku has yet another goal after a fantastic ball in from Mason Holgate but we couldnt hang on as James Wilson equalised for Palace. In other news Chelsea have now parted company with Villas-Boas!

Looks like you'll be in the fight for top 4 all the way to the end of the season, good luck hopefully you can hold off spurs!
On a side note.... danny ings at ipswich?!?! Im a huge ipswich fan, whos in charge? Any other major transfers? Hope you dont mind me asking.
