I haven't tried it yet,but if you do,I would suggest lowering their mentalities upto defensive,putting them on man marking tight.And begin that way,if you are leaving to much space normally,and if they are getting up even when you are not counterattacking,then I would suggest a new tweak to keep them behind,atm,try this.
And I am now playing with play offside off.As my defenders were trying to play offside too much n we were conceding loco goals :/ ,you could try that.
Akash, try this.
FB´s set to normal tackling - if they miss a tackle the opposition gets an highway to ur goal. With this they will keep more the position.
Wingers to cross always - they will be less selfish and won´t miss so many chances if front of the goal, instead they will pass the ball to an unmarked player.

I have done a few tweaks myself to the old tactic,played 2 games so far in the league with granada.2 wins.1 home and 1 away,vs betis(4-0) and malaga(3-1).
I am not sure if its the tactic or Granada.They seem an all right team.
And I will look into your tweaks as well,atm the only problem I am seeing is fullbacks not closing down wingers in the wings,and coming in more centrally.Need to fix that.
About the defensive line,I haven't changed it,I just switched to playing a SHORT pitch for Granada and turned off play offside,now they don't get through anymore,defenders shadow the forwards,I will try man marking on the defenders in the Granada save and let you know how it goes.

I don remember why but then I ditched that because of an issue,but might try it again,atm,3 wins in a row,just bet villa real 4-2,two errors,one from diakhete-missed his clearance and uche-was caught holding onto the ball too deep in his own half.So,life is good atm.But I will still try those tweaks.
Update-4 games won out of 4.Have some Uni work to do so will leave it at that for tonight.in the 4 games I have conceded 3 and conceded 3.1 from a free kick,two from mistakes,though opposition has had shots and all.Teamtalk failure is the main reason for this,as the same team plays really good in the first half and **** in the second,or vice versa--will do the team talks myself and see if results get any better.
And I would love to know if its just me or are Granada a really good team in FM and IRL?
I don't particularly follow the Spanish league so have no idea,only picked them cuz they were predicted 20th.

Hey Akash, great tactic! Im going trought the thread to learn more about it, but i got a few questions if you dont mind.
About the players interaction, a lot of players who get +7.8, 8 ratings when i say passes were good they tend to disagree with me and lose some moral. Should i keep this interaction?
Oh, and what about big teams, like man city, chelsea and so, do you change anything in your strategy for a more defensive one or something like that before the game?

Do you add these onto the already mentioned tweaks (the ACM tweak ect) or are theses just 1's you have done from the normal download? and also which download are you using?

shouldn't be,in mine.I don't get a lot of goals from corners,about 25 -28 a season has been my average,which I found normal when compared to the other teams in there with the team behind me being one 20ish.Many corner goals?
Good going mate,I have some tweaks,which have made the attack and the defence better,I will update the OP with it today,what I want you guys to do with it is,keep it as your 2nd tactics and use it and see if you feel a better performance as due to work commitments I can't do the testing myself,though its been tested with Granada for 10 games-unbeaten with 2 draws against Valencia and Cadiz i think-both very unlucky last ditch goals.
And for almost a full season in my career save with Auxxere.
So yes will be uploading that tonight.As soon as I have the throw in settings proper as I seem to concede the most from a quick break right after a throw in for my team.

Okay will test it for you as my 2nd with Sunderland - the second I use at mine is same at this tactic but with AMC down to CM position
I havent conceeded any goals from corner, since i used akash'.
So now im at November.
1st 6 point down to second, lost none, won 11, drawn 3.
Scored 50 goals conceeded 14.
I lost 3-1 carling cup against West ham.
I have just lend Yaya Sanogo from Man U (SADLY They got him, before me)

If you have problems with goals against on counter attacks or vs fast strikers, here is something you could try. I've only tried it in 1 match so far, so I would like to hear how it works for others. Instead of dropping both dm's mentality 2 notches, I dropped the left dm 4 notches. Man Utd's striker has been unstoppable against me in the CL, but for the first time in 8 matches I had less than 3 goals against vs them in a match, I had 0 goals against away from home.
