Awesome tactic mate.its taken my Luton team straight up...102 pts and 120 goals scored (all having got rid of my high earners and only signed some average loans).
Any ideas on how to improve my away form? And get more possession when I'm winning?

There my 2 tactics i used mate and all the team played well but my top players where Benjani, Kitson, Lawrance and Huseklepp i cant remember how to bring up last season player stats i know Kitson was top scorer if u can reply telling me how to get there stats up i wiill post more screens

Go for it! I'm starting up a network game with my brother (I'm Palace) and I will be using this tactic, so I will let you know how I get on. As far as transfer budget you get sweet f***a**, so you have to be quite shrewd with your signings.
I'm playing on 12.2.2 and so far I have sold Owen Garvan (£450k, he is good but I don't need CMs with this formation) Paddy McCarthy (£1m, good CB but I needed some cash) and Jermaine Easter (£100k, because well, he is poo).
I have brought in Delfouneso (on Loan, quick striker) Melchiot (*FREE, RB cover for injured Clyne), Soukouna (*FREE, fast striker/ winger), Ricardo Rocha (My new CB, bought for £0 up front & £200k over 48 months - btw Pompey are in debt and will accept pittance for their players) and two players from Botafogo in Brazil (Willian £0 up front & £1.8m over 48 months - quick striker, and Cidinho £0 up front & £3.5m over 48 months - playmaker) I haven't got much cash left but I would like to add one or two more.

Buying spread over 48 months is risky but as long as you are successful you will be OK, it really saves money though as I have been spending only a 1/4 of what I would normally for players.
I actually changed the tactic a bit (to not classic) because I wanted to see player roles and also change my mentality depending on the score during the match. I will keep you all updated with how I get on, might work - fingers crossed!

As far as i know Akash said the formation and tactic require FAST strikers (see page 1, section on recommended player types) however having seen the screen shots of one guys game as Portsmouth it contradicts that a bit. This guy used Dave Kitson and he scored bucket loads even though you would class him as a target man (tall, fairly slow ect...) then again I think Akash set up the corners for near post with the lone striker attacking near post - maybe this is how that guy got so many goals out of a fairly immobile Kitson. I don't know though you would have to ask him. In my game I'm going fast forwards/ wingers and a defence that's either got speed or alternatively anticipation and positioning as I imagine you will need this playing such a high line. If, like me, your main striker is small with crappy heading stats change your CB with the best heading stats to attack near post on corners.
I have scored quite a few goals in my Swansea save with Danny Graham,he is not fast or anything.
He did score a lot from corners but he also scored a lot when he got the ball outside the ball and he had a good shot--basically he was technically sound,but playing him resulted in the dimension of the play being narrowed down to the two wingers--i.e.-he was not making the kind of runs I wanted my st to make.He could not get past the defenders when my amc used to play him through-defenders caught up with him,whereas,luke moore,who only has the pace and agility as a plus factor in comparison to Graham but is way poorer technically,got into great places because of his speed--same for lita.And even though their **** stats meant they missed a lot,they did score quite a few as well.
As for the corners,I would say,you don't necessarily need a tall striker in the near post.It has nothing to do with height,you just need someone who is great at controlling the ball with his head,i.e. someone who is good at heading.E.g.-this striker in my save got a lot of goals from corners even though he is 5 for jumping.
Also for corners,I would not use a CD,this is because some times,actually most times,goals from my corner set up comes from the ball being played into the near post attackers foot,or comes from a scramble,where a good finisher is needed.So any player with good anticipation,heading and finishing should be played there-and its a plus if he's good in the air
