If you have problems with goals against on counter attacks or vs fast strikers, here is something you could try. I've only tried it in 1 match so far, so I would like to hear how it works for others. Instead of dropping both dm's mentality 2 notches, I dropped the left dm 4 notches. Man Utd's striker has been unstoppable against me in the CL, but for the first time in 8 matches I had less than 3 goals against vs them in a match, I had 0 goals against away from home.

I am playing with a new tweak,to the amc,a bit to the dms.Going good right now.But will test it further,I actually went back to the old dm mentality,but I will also try these nonetheless.

I have actually started conceding less from corners by using these:
keeping one striker and one winger up top
one winger and amc on mark near post and mark far post
2 fullbacks if they are good in the air on man mark and also 2 dm on man mark if they are good in the air,by good I mean anything above 12.
3.two centrebacks on mark tall,unless one has less than 15 jumping.

that looks a very good tactic.
only problem is that I tried it with my current save, in the season 2020/2021, so I have built a very strong team already.

Wanna give it a try with a new save from the start.

What I realized is the front men don't need to extremely gifted as long as they are QUICK-really quick.
On the other hand,try and get good cd and defenders and in a quality am.They are the lifeblood of the team.
In my current save with auxxere,a more striker minded am is playing really well,while dario conca is failing but in my granada save,carlos martins is ripping everyone apart.
Try and get this guy with at least 12 12 pace and acceleration for EPL as he runs with the ball a lot,but it is not a must as my sigurdsson wasn't the quickest in the swansea save.
What I am trying to say is,I'm still not sure what the best settings for the amc is.What I do know is,COMES DEEP TO GET BALL on all of the AM's is a very very good idea,jara with that setting is ripping people apart in Spain.

Someone tested it with 12.04 and ripped everything apart.Conceding very little and averaging 7 a game with his team.
As the match engine between those two patches is the same,it should work.

A new version has been developed,it has the dms more defensive minded,no OT anymore,better throw ins,amc plays the more withdrawn amc role,winger marking changed,crossing of fb and wingers changed,crossing of amc changed,marking of dms changed,use target man ticked.
Getting goals like before but with little or no opposition goals from open play.
Testing two last things,1.OI 2.whether it plays better with or with the playmaker selected,when these two are done,it will be uploaded.

no the latest version hasn't yet been uploaded.I am testing it at the moment a bit more,as soon as it is ready,I will upload it.

CAN anyone name a team with which they would like the tactic to be tested with?
I can't think of anyone.
It has worked when I put it back on the Swansea save,working with Auxxere in the career save,even though i have very young defence(avg age 20-- all youth products) and working with Granada Season 1,3rd in the table behind madrid and barca.
I really want to see if I have succeeded in making it as good as it can be or not.
Since the test will be without buying players,I would like the ones who recommend to name teams with decent wingers,like don't ask me to test it with Norwich-they have **** wingers.

I rest on the same day as the match.
I usually just rest the first 11.Others I don't.Im sorry I wasn't clear about this earlier.
I have developed a new version which is seeming to do better for me,I'm pm-ing it you.I would be glad if you try it in a few games.And give me feedback as to which you feel is better.
For me its creating more and conceding less,I am using OI's now at times.
But it is usually just the foot and the tackling and tight marking at times.
e.g.-If opposition has really good speedy dribblers,I just tackle them easy so that they don't go away.
Also I am keeping 3 forward for the defensive corners.
Let me know if you would want to test it and if so,how soon you think you could give me feedback.

Won the league 1. season with bolton.
2. season i only finished second because of Team Aguero. Got to the quaterfinale of CL
3. season seems like a walkover so far. Havn´t lost so far, but my group in CL is Barca, Roma and Lyon. :S

being a chelsea supporter i used chelsea with this tactic

by far the best tactic i have used i don't rest players either i use rotation very well with chelsea the only player brought is sime vrsaljko for 2.5m once cash is in i will buy marko marin and andre schurrle to add to my team

My Man United Team won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup & Champions League.

Only lost 1 game in that whole season (A Pre Season Friendly) and think the league ended up over 100 points, with about 120 Goals Scored, less than 20 conceded.

Schurrle Scored around 70 Goals overall in the season.

I'll try do screen shots, but am not sure how you do it.

I have been getting a lot of success with it in my Career save and in the Granada save,but I don't know whether its better or not yet for everyone.
I like this version as It has finally removed the problem of amc not turning up against dmc teams.
And even if he does,a quick remove him from playmaker list but still keep the use playmaker does the trick.

The tactic is just fine for me, i 've just won the FA cup with Aston Villa, third on the premier. But i've noticed something: I conceed a lot ¿Anyone else with that experience?
