Swansea Treble First Season (Sumthin's 4-2-3-1)

Been using this tactic with Bournemouth and after 26 games (small pitch) im destroying League 1. Mcdermot and Pugh on the wings with Tubbs/Thomas upfront are destroying all opponents.

Defence was leaky first 15 games or so but I was outscoring the opposition so not too much worry. Now players are used to it defence has shored up quite nicely. Very interested to try out the improved defence version when its released.
 
Hey, Im playing as Monterpillers in France, Its been a tough start played 4 lost 3 won 1 the win was a 5-0 win and the opponents didnt come close to scoring. but with loses to lille, Lyon and Stade Rennes we conceded way to many goals from set pieces. granted gain both lyon and stade rennes we was unlucky to lose 2 90plus min goals. but the defending was less than convincing. against lille we lost 4-2 and at times was shambolic defending. now with this said i have set defensive set pieces as the training, i dont have the best squad in the world (few stand out players/youngsters) Belhenda, Grioud etc, im going to continue and see how we go i will at least play the first season before making a judgement, mate one think i know is that you are great at making tacitcs your attacking one was very successful and this is a much harder challenge. I believe with a few tweeks you have the core tactic to be strong defensivly, as i said set peices has been my biggest problem. Will keep you updated with another inbox message tomorrow. Take care. I have had the pleasure to test the new version of your tactic Akash. First I must say, that you have done a **** of a job this time.. Congrats from me ;)

Im playing the danish premier league team Aab, which is an average team in Denmark. I started using the new version with 13 games left in the second season - until that I used the original one. Scoring 45 and conseeding 11 in these 13 games. I won the championship 5 games before end of season, and seemed like my players allready went on holiday just then. 6 of the goals I conseeded was in the last four games. 90% of the goals scored against me, was all from set pieces. In the original one I moved the right dm to right cm. I tried doing the same in my test of the new version, and so far it seems to work out really well. The cm is still doing his defensive job, and at the same time his getting more involved in the attacking play. I havent changed any of his setting.

The game against Wien is my first friendly in third season.

I tried to put the dm and the back four on man marking. But need to test that further, when I'm going out on the fields of europe in the next season.

My overall conclusion so far, is that this is one of the best tactics out there( and believe me, I tried alot). If the goals scored against this tactic from set pieces, somehow can be minimized a bit, I think Akash is close to have done the perfekt job.

I forgot to mention that I play with left footed winger in left side, and right foot in right side.

We are getting there bit by bit, I'm up to 6th and had 2 clean sheets in a row and beat PSG 4-0 at home! We can write september off as a bad month and hope to push forward. its looking good!

Some really good results there Zvono, I don't know much about the Danish league so I'm not sure who are meant to be strong opposition or not (other than Kobenhavn). And don't worry about your english, it's almost perfect and funny enough a lot better than some English people I know haha.

Interesting about the set pieces, when I used the original I hardly ever conceded any from corners, and my team wasn't overly tall, or brilliant by any means, I was a team in the 2nd division of the Korean League predicted to come near the bottom.

haha,I kind off changed the set piece as I was getting fed up with conceding and this new one was doing great for a while.Though in my LAST test with guess who,yes swansea,I just conceded only from set pieces so far,1 against norwich from a corner,QPR had their only CCC from a corner-they dint score though,and only other goals came in a 4-3 defeat against Chelsea and a 2-2 draw against Wigan,where I tried some of the tweaks the testers mentioned to me.
Other than those two games,which I shall disregard,in 8 BPL games,I have conceded only 4,2 from corners,1 from indirect free kick and longshot resulting in own goal for keeper. and 1 goal from open play.I don't know what is the best corner setting.As no matter what I do,opposition always seems to score from corners.FML.

Which version do you think is the better option, 1 or 2?

And for your important info onyour first page re the AM.. Did you mean put his creative freedom on full, and his mentality on as attacking as possible? Then the passing short, one notch off mixed?

that would be great too man,and atm just played one game with Cranes settings.
5 corners for opposition,no half chances even,looks good.But one problem is that it has the amr/l coming back to defend indirect free kick when they are from the side and they got their only clear cut chance when dyer was out jumped by Bennet but he headed it over.From a Free kick though,for the corners it was great.

Good results there mate, had to have a chuckle at the tactic name and to be fair the 3 losses weren't exactly against the easiest of opposition.

no its true they wasn't the easiest and just had a interesting result in the cup as well was 0-0 at end of 90 mins and then won 5-0 by end of extra time
 
I won the league and league cup with montpellier.

Belhanda got injured for me for 3 months and it was very difficult but i used this tactic and it worked magic

and another thing: i am not a fan of playmaker so if i dont select him in the playmaker box will this have a massive efect???
