Trying this with my relagation threatened exeter in the championship second season, i'll let you know if it saves me :D lets hope so :/

edit: 5 games into this tactic with 14 to play and me 3 pts inside the relagation zone, and i've stomped to 3 wins 2 draws - so far so good :D

this tactic is great but i keep conceding for set piecces can someone put up pictures of their defensive corner and freekick please

Ok, been testing the new tactic with Montpellier and my first season has came to a end and here is my report on what i have seen.

Conclusion- as you can see from the shots its been a rather successful season, a second place finish, got the semi finals of one cup also, I won manager of the year and a majority of my players took awards as well. I spend most of the season in 1st place and was disappointed to fall to a second place finish and if it wasn't for the defeat of Lorient last game by PSG i would have finished 3rd.

Tactic overview- I believe if i had more squad depth and not suffered from injuries like I did then I would have won the league and cup. I contemplated removing the offside trap but then decided that it helps stop more goals than it does concede although i conceded a few silly goals because of the offside trap. I was disappointed with the amount of goals conceded from corners and set pieces and this is something I wasn't to sure how to stop I had my team train defensive set pieces but 80% of my goals against came from set pieces.. most of the other goals conceded came from crosses and headers or tap ins. I scored the most goals in the league by a mile and this is what kept me in second!

Strengths- Goals scored, Goals from Corners, Defending with less men (check out the PSG screenshot) Winning with lots of goals, Striker scoring many goals more than games played for me, General defensive duties when defending open play.

Weaknesses- Definitely defending against set pieces, Keeping cleans sheets against top teams, BEATING LYON LOL I just couldn't do it with 4 times of trying!

Overview, With the CL next season my squad will have to be stronger to compete in more games, i fear my league position could slip playing more games in Europe. The tactic all in all i would give a 9/10 Its a great achievement finishing second first season and gives me something to build on. The tactic needs a few tweeks on defensive set pieces and results against big teams (although i won a few convincingly) and it has the potential to be a storming tactic, when you release it.

Thank you for allowing me to test it, its be a fun season and i will keep you posted on second season if your interested

@marshall1313 is that the new Beta one you are playing with? Or the Original version?

If it's the beta one, Akash is testing out other styles of defending set-pieces to add to the tactic to make it more solid. I am also trialling a diferrent defending set-up for corners.

Yes, this is the newer one that Akash sent me, no worries, I'm just giving the feedback he asked, But great to hear your working on defensive corners. like i said, reckon it can be a 10/10 tactic with that and a few other small tweaks.
 
Allright guys,no matter which Defensive Corner setting I try,I always see the opposition score from them.SO this is my best suggestion to everyone,when you buy FBs or dms or attackers.
TRY TO BUY 2-3 players from here with VERY GOOD jumping stats.I say this because I tried almost all the corner settings,and no matter which one I use I also concede.Reason for this being,using the formation I am using,there are usually 6 players who always have 7-8 for jumping at max,the FBs and the 4 upfront and more usually then not,the CMs.With maximum of any of these two having a jumping of at max 11 or 12.And since the two CBs can only take up two men,other two opposition players are likely to score.
I HIGHLY recommend getting these other two players with 15 or above jumping OTHER THAN the CBs.Also take into account height if jumping is a bit lower then this.
SO point or summary,get two LONG and good aerial players alongside the CBs.
And I tried the corner settings from Crane and Collzy and they are both pretty good,but yes,the only goals I conceded even then were from corners.RIDICULOUS from the game this.
THE STATS are for the BPL only,they obviously go down as we go down leagues.
To test this reasoing of mine out,I might try a test run with either Stoke or someone similar.

I have made two or three small tweaks from the version I sent you guys I think.I'm not sure though its two tweaks or more,its just basically a bit on the amc,but sigurdsson had a rating of 8.11 come mid season,but he has the free kicks and great corner,so I don't know if its actually that good,I will try it again now in my only career save and see how it goes.
Other than the tweaks on the amc,I tweaked a bit with the AMRL markings,and also am using a few OI's.I will run a test with these new settings and for the testers,I assume I gave Charles1313 the OIs I'm using can you post them here?
And for the amc,I increased his closing down to halfway and for the wingers,I put them on man mark.Would appreciate if you test these too.
Also would appreciate you guys trying Cranes and Collzys defensive corner set ups.OR other defensive corner setups that you guys know about and that worked for you in the past.As other than that,I can't see a lot that I can do,I rarely concede from open play,the odd one here and there,but I don't think that can be stopped to be honest.

AMC mentality is already dropped in the *** version,and oh sorry for the name...

OK yeah sure the tweaks you sent me are as follows.

OPPOSITION INSTRUCTIONS:-

- Show the Strikers and wingers on to their OUTSIDE foot. So show LW and Left-sided strikers onto their left foot. Do the same with the RW and Right-sided strikers.

- Show the LB and RB on to their inside foot. So show the LB onto his Right-foot and the RB onto his Left-foot. Also tight mark on both RB & LB.

These are for the BETA (***) version that I'm using! Hah. The results that Akash has been getting with these tweaks are pretty ridiculous! haha.

I am going to rey out a few defensive corner routines to see if that helps poorer teams (teams who do not have and cannot afford players with 15 for Jumping and/or heading) defend better from set-peices.
 
Ok, Im going to use these Opp Instuctions, and play as stoke, What are the defensive corners of Cranes and Collzys?

Cranes one is on the tactic to the forum he linked too.Attack Attack Attack one,look back a page or two,the defensive corner setting of that tactic is really good he said.

Thanks, Played 6 games so far as stoke and haven't conceded a goal from a corner

I also signed Kara for the defensive Midfielder Jumping 18, for the Defensive Mid who marks tall player.

I was using your general one, But just turned to the one you inboxed me,

Game 1-2
5-1 and 3-0 in Europa League

Games 3-4
4-1 and 3-0 in next round of Europa League

Games 5-6
3-1 against Newcastle
2-1 against Blackburn Premier League

Not been to bad, goals against was from open play, but i won the games comfortable, haven't lost yet.
