Need Help Portugal

Hello, fellow fm followers, I'm from portugal, and i need a unusual help, despite being from portugal, and playing with porto, but what i really like is playing LLM, sometimes hardcore and sometimes very soft, i've did remarkable things such as getting hereford to winners of the champions league in previous editions, just because i like the adrenaline rush of playing from the bottom and going up to premier, what i really would like is to transfer that adrenaline to the portuguese league, which is hard, because there is only 3 level's (omg) so I'm playing at a maximum of 4/5 years of LLM, what i would like is a walkthrough guide to try at least do do a level 6/8 in portugal in order to be able to pursuit further records with teams that i also appreciate, because let's face it playing with porto, sporting and benfica, in 3 years the pleasure of the game which is 100% decreases drastically to 60% and further seasons is decreasing more, but, sincerely it increases more when your entire squad doesn't have a well known name, that's nice (lolol).

so i would like your help please...
i am really excited about this post, because it is my first so i would like you to give away a look at my english, please give me a hollow, thank you very much

i am newcastle and after 8 games i was in thrid place after beating chelsea and arsenal and all of a suddent the middle teams like fulham blackburn everton ect seem to be beating me by like 5 and 6 goals ime using the tottenham 4-4-2 tactic

Question: What's the best tactical approach when you're a lower league team that is promoted to a league it clearly doesn't have the money to compete in.

I've hit a wall with Shrewsbury in the English Championship. I had it happen before in Verona in Serie A too.

Basically, I just want to not get relegated for a year or two so the team can get its bearings, but that's easier said than done when your team doesn't have the coin to field a team.

Perhaps more to the point, is there a juncture where I'd be better off just moving clubs, or do these small teams still have a chance if managed correctly?

can someone answer my question?

JP took off his tactic since he got too much abuse from disenchanted users, you can't find what you need, but why don't you just ask JP if he would be so kind to help

wots the best way to go against a big team Man City when im port vale thanks

city played a 4-2-3-1 the last time i played against them

play 2 centerbacks, 2 defensive minded full backs, and 2 anchor men

have one centerback and one anchorman double mark tevez. have the spare center back and anchor man on zonal marking. everyone else on man marking. if you have defensive wingers, use em. if you have centerbacks who can play center or def mid, use em. have a lone forward as targetman-attack

double mark silva optional but at least single mark

play "control" tactic, play a high line, pressure and tackle the **** out of your opponents. retain possession, play narrow, and keep the tempo slow. i'll guarantee you at least a draw. it's not called parking the bus, it's called having ball winners all over the pitch

How come my squads morale drops (for no reason) at certain points in the game (not specific ones, just random or so it seems)

I'm first in the league, we score like beasts and hardly concede any goals. Some players are always playing while some i kinda rotate due not that high stamina and such.

Any idea's?

complacency or interest from other clubs

also could be something you promised them in the past. i promised one of my players first-team football if he trains well, but i forgot later on

His role is 'complete forward'.

Support or attack ?

I had a lone forward (Complete Support) but when I went up to the premeirship it didn't work. I have him as a Deep Lying Attack and it seems better (not sure about the stats mind)

Why I'm having bad results at mid seasson around january and february with every team I had played?

did you overbuy/oversell during the winter transfer window? i had the same problem in fm10. sold like 15 players, brought in 10 new

also could be jadedness. especially if you've used the same starting XI for every single match. rest your players now and then. their training rate will suffer but their current playing form may improve

going through my team reports and one of my kids has been tagged by all my coaches as selfish (tbf he's one greedy ******* if he scored he might get upgraded to pig but he thinks hitting the goalie counts) what individual trainning setting will help put him right.

Get an older player to tutor him. :)

Hi, any general tips on how to get my full backs to actually put a tackle in instead of just jockying the opp teams wingers until they can find enough space to cross and I concede, again :S
Also, there seems to be a lot if space behind them which tends to get exploited.
Any help gratefully accepted!

Yo, people! I got several small questions:

2) In the Opposing Team Instructions how do you decide whom to give Tight Marking, Closing Down, Hard Tackling and Attack weaker foot? My guess is Tight marking for creative and technically skilled enemy players, Closing Down for enemy players with low Concentration and low technial skills, Hard Tackling for enemy dribblers and Attack weaker foot for enemy players with high technique? Is this right?

Attack weaker foot should be used on a player who doesn't use his weaker foot so when your player att his weaker foot the opponent will automatically switch to his stronger foot (and if you tight mark him), your defender will be sure that the player will use his stronger foot prior to the weak (eventhough he could dribble past the defender if he would have switched the leg (sry 4 bad english -.-)).

So basically you gain a little bit of advantage at that point.

I have poor wingers and a bunch of strikers. Would you recommend any good 4-3-3 tactic for 11.2 patch that uses 3 central midfielders and 3 strikers with no wingers ? I am playing polish 2nd league so for a poor team :)

Hi. what training shedules (workloads) do you use pre-season and how often do you play friendy matches?
My players are tired all the time.

Personally, I only play a friendly about every 4-5 days. As for training, I normally set it to about 1/4 of the way up in preseason and slowly raise it until I get to the start of the season. I stop once I get to about 3/4 up - any more than that is too much for most players IMO.

Keep in mind your players probably will get tired pretty easily in preseason. Just rotate them. You will need to during the season anyway if you are to keep your best players fit for the important matches.

As my first message is ignored, i'll post another.

How come i always miss around the 5-6 100% chances and the opponent gets 1 chance and scores? I know it happens a lot in real soccer but this is driving me crazy as it happens virtually every match.
