any suggestions for good tactics for bournemouth...would to get dem promoted without buying players and bringing coaches.....good tactics??...coaches????
Not many users play with Bournemouth so perhaps its best to upload some screens of the team, also explaining the strengths and weaknesses of the team.
When doing so, please use the thread linked to beneath, and I promise to give my thoughts on it

my assistant manager has advised me that I keep on losing to teams who play a slow tempo. Not sure how to stop this happening I think if I set my team instructions to press more this might work but not 100% sure... does anyone know if this would work?
In short this means that statistically , you have been playing bad against teams using a s low tempo. The next step to evaluate this information is to see if the tempo has been been the dominant variable, rather than the quality of those opponents. The teams you have lost against, have they been lesser teams sitting deep and playing cautious on the counter against you, or have they been better teams, retaining possession at your home ground. Once you have figured that out, then you can take measurements and respond.
Against cautious opponents, you need to hassle them and use more of the pitch width. This can be done either by either pushing up the defence, or my favourite, just pressing higher without pushing up the d-line as this action limits the space. You don't have to actually play wider, just make sure that you have players providing the width, like wingers hugging the touchline, along with players opening up space, all this done is a more probing and patient manor.
Against quality opponents retaining possession, it again depends. It can be that they have scored 1-0 by playing quick and then defended the lead by playing cautious. Then, you need to do the same as in the previous example only this time, you cant play too wide and too aggressive

How to good use Match Preparation?
I think that this question is very well put as you ask "How to use" and not "Whats the best". The most important part here is to understand what they do. Here is a rather good quote by wwfan from SI
I decided to highlight the last sentence as its probably the most important part When you are consistent, its easier to spot a pattern and learn when to do what.
1: Firstly, recognise that the match preparation screen is more than cosmetic. You need a stable and solid base formation and a gelled side before you can expect any good runs of form. You also need to have a basic strategy for approaching each match type. I use the following:
- Match I expect to dominate: Team Blend (should win anyway, so spend some time building the team understanding)
- Match I expect to win: Attacking Movement: Make sure I have the best chance of converting attacking sequences of play
- Match I hope to win: Defensive Positioning: Make sure I keep it tight at my end and hope to ****** goals on the counter
- Match I expect to be a struggle: Attacking Set Pieces: Try to keep things as tight as possible and score form a set piece
- Match I expect to lose: Defensive Set Pieces: Try to frustrate opposition in open play and then successfully defend the resulting set pieces
- Match I expect to be dominated in: Team Blend (very little chance of a result, so work on team understanding)
I'd prefer this type of strategy to be automated so I didn't have to click the screen every match, but beggars can't be choosers. NB: My own strategy is just one of many options you might decide upon.
Just make sure there is some logical consistency in whatever approach you decide to follow.
