Tactics & Training: The " I have a small question " thread

I have one question for everybody. When you create new league, can you put training ( to use training schedules) in youth ( u18,19,20) teams. ? Whenever I create new league, my u18 team never have training option. They can only use full time, but I want to use youth schedules. Anyone knows how to do this ?
..
Anyone ?

Just wondering,
Is there a way to make 3 players rotate with each other?
I play 4-2-3-1 and I want the AML, AMC and AMR to rotate.

You can't rotate 3 players automatically. Best thing to do is go to quick tactics while in a match and go to "swap players".

----------------------------------------------------------

I'm developing a 3-5-2 formation currently, looks something like this

-------------SW
--------CB--------CB
-------------DM
----WB----------------WB
----------CM-----CM
-
--------ST------ST

It utilizes 2 passing diamonds, one in defense and one in midfield.

I want a possession tactic and have the numbers in midfield to do it I think, but I don't get good possession % with slow tempo and short passing.

Has anyone else tried a similar tactic and what tips can you give me?

Am I being stupid here but if my players passing was good individually and decision making wouldn't the best passing possible to put all their passing on mixed with little creative freedom. Surely in theory the players will then have the ability to execute all types of passes and will only do a longer pass if there is low risk

I was just wondering how to counter a team playing with a slow tempo and a narrow width? Is it as easy as playing with a high tempo and a very wide midfield? Or would that leave the middle too open, especially if the opposition have the extra bodies through the middle (41212, 4141, 4411)

What stat is more importand to judje your team (your tactic) Defensive ability ???

Celar Cut Chances or Shots???

If its against a team sitting team , holding possesion, playing a patient build up using a defensive appraoch, then you have to push up the team, hassle them and play patient your self ( like using Control, hasle opponent, retain possesion and play wider)
if its against a team using counter attacks within this appraoch, then its perhaps better using a high pressing game ( not hasle) within a more balance approach, usiing the other mentioend shouts besides hassle

I would say that it depends on who you are playing against. If its against a team that has brilliant and flairfull players, I would rather give a player out of balance a clear cut chance tha the same player all the time in the world to put the ball into the net form just outside the area. The first is ocnsiderd a CCC whilst the second is not. With this said, my point is that these stats are static and does not tell the whole story.

Man City 4.3.3

I am trying to play a 4.3.3 with Man City, I was trying to play Dzeko at striker, with David Silva and Tevez out on the wings. Any suggestions for player roles or other players for my front 3?

I just bought lucas from sao paulo and want to use him as an inside forward. How do I retrain him to have that as his fav position?

Hi, what is the best tactic for fm 11 for the weak bands, a low reputation?.
I would ask to provide a universal tactic that has proven itself in weak leagues like Poland.
Sorry for my English.

There is no universal tactic. E verything depends on your team, your players, etc etc. There are too many variables to create an universal tactic, simply impossible.

Otherwise it will ask what is the best tactic is for the weak clubs?

It would be to use 2 tactics, or rather 2 appraoches.

- The nornal one, a rather defensive
Flood the midfield, play narrow and slow and try keeping possesion by using few runs from deep and few t-balls but let your attacking players actually go straight at goal when they have the chance
- The Counter based one
Here, you also flood the midfield but play one the counter, more direct and using more players making runs from deep

has anyone found a system to get the fb's and wingers working together? making triangles with the midfield and playing 1-2's for the winger to dart in behind the defence for a ball inside or over the top...is it best to just keep the settings from the roles or to play a role and then tinker with it? im getting really frustrated that it only seems you can make a big difference in the players position with the role and then that creates too much space between players eg. wingers to inside forward creates too much distance between fb's but playing them as a wide midfielder tightens it up butis incredibly hard to create any fluidity down the wings...can anyone help? thanks

In that case, the tactics of fm base will not help me?
Rather because I do not do two tactics.
Thanks for your help.
Today I tested Brobs17 4-1-2-3 V3 Ultimate 11.3
I is the average, once I can win with a 2-0 win with a weaker second club lose 3-0.

Hey guys. Happy to have found this thread, and, obviously, I have a small question to ask.

Say I have a lot of injuries (I don't. Moderate at best), and say none of them are from training (True), all of them are from games and my players are generally in fantastic shape (90%+ form before every game), does training intensity still affect injuries?

Basically my question is; Does training intensity have any influence on injuries inflicted in games?
