Incredible comeback against PSG man! Clinical finishing or what!

Absolutely excellent result there man! Congrats.

Thanks man, I really couldn't believe what I was seeing!

Great comeback vs PSG so close to being able to draw Celtic in the QF's although as they are a smaller size maybe it is for the best

Hahahaha you're probably right, we have a much better chance of knocking off Madrid :P

I know right! Quite unbelievable, what a time to produce such a performance too. Miracles do happen!

Brilliant result against PSG especially since the previous leg had gone so poorly. Bayern are going to be a very tough ask but at this stage you were always going to get a difficult opponent. Still with a bit of luck anything can happen... ;)

Thanks mate, it was quite the turnaround! We've shown we can be both brilliant and atrocious, so depending on which version shows up against Bayern, we may be in with a chance

Are you Lincoln in disguise? Pretty much the same issue I have, never know which team will turn up!

Hahaha apparently! The best indication for me is the opposition:

Are they cellar dwellers? Yes? Let's hand them three points on a silver platter!
Are they a world class side? Yes? Let's hand their arses to them!

English Premier League - Game 29 - Watford FC (Home)

No good reason to change the lineup that obliterated Paris Saint-Germain in our last match. Let’s hope we can perform to a similar level against Watford in the league. I’m not exactly holding my breath.

Behrami’s effort from a low 6th minute corner took a touch off Wanyama, and was turned wide by a diving Dragowksi.

In the 26th minute Pjaca was tackled by Young, who then tried to pass back to his keeper, and for the second game in succession, Milik was too quick, striking the loose ball into the net!

A superb team move in the 37th minute culminated in Tadic slipping a pass through for Milik, but Caballero made a classy save.

In the 59th minute Dragowski absolutely robbed Montero with a world class save to turn his close range volley wide.

Shortly after the corner Jurado found space opening up but curled his shot narrowly wide.

From the goal kick we worked the ball to Pjaca, who sent a sensational defence-splitting ball for Milik, who held off Britos and finished past Caballero! What a pass from Pjaca - his 13th key pass of the match, after just 60 minutes!

A tired Fonte was replaced by Upamecano a minute later.

Milik was denied a hat trick in the 70th minute by an exceptional diving save.

Balic and De Paul replaced Wanyama and the outstanding Pjaca in the 76th minute.

A quality performance today at both ends of the pitch. Dragowski made a couple of crucial saves, and Pjaca was electric, with 14 key passes. Milik scored the crucial goals too, showing good composure in front of goal.

POM: Marko Pjaca (9.0, 0G, 1A)

English Premier League - Game 30 - Liverpool FC (Away)

Liverpool at Anfield is a huge match, as they are just 4 points above us on the ladder. We’ve done pretty poorly away from home for the most part, so it would be nice if we could find some success here. Pjaca is a little tired from internationals, so Juanmi replaces him in the lineup. The same goes for Augustinsson and Radu, replaced by Bertrand and Palombo respectively.

Benteke opened the scoring in the 6th minute, moving intelligently (has anyone ever said that about him before?) to slot home first time from Milner’s scything long ball.

Shaqiri was denied 1v1 by Dragowski in the 10th from another long ball.

Milner’s killer ball for Chadli in the 18th minute was finished with ease by the Belgian.

Pjaca replaced Juanmi in the 52nd minute.

Dragowksi made a brilliant save from a point blank Milner shot in the 63rd minute.

Balic replaced Clasie a minute later.

Kießling replaced Milik in the 73rd.

Dragowski managed to claw an 80th minute Emre Can header off the line.

Tadic was viciously fouled by Can in the 92nd minute, and the German was given his marching orders. There wasn’t even time for the free kick though.

Another poor defeat on the road, as we really created nothing. Tadic was something of a spark, but it wasn’t enough, and Dragowski's Man of the Match display in goals was for nothing.

POM Bartlomiej Dragowski (9.2, 2 conceded, 12 saves)

English Premier League - Game 31 - Norwich City (Away)

Norwich are a mid-table side, and therefore favourites against us :P We do really need to win here though, to try to finish 6th. They beat us last time we played them, so hopefully we can exact some revenge.

Zivkovic opened the scoring for us in the 11th minute, putting away Kießling’s knockdown from Luan’s cross inside the near post.

Brady equalised for Norwich in the 23rd minute with a tap in at the back post from Garbutt’s cross.

Kießling played Zivkovic in a minute later, but Ruddy made the save.

Menez scored in the 30th but was a mile offside. Kießling’s cutback from Luan’s cross in the 44th minute found Ward-Prowse, but his shot was somehow kept out by Ruddy.

Tadic replaced Wanyama in the 61st minute as we shifted formations.

In the 71st minute Pjaca’s cross found Kießling, whose effort was cleared off the line by Mazuch!

De Paul replaced Pjaca in the 75th.

Dragowski got a vital touch on an 81st minute cross to prevent a tap in for Brady.

Balic replaced Zivkovic in the 83rd.

Another disappointing result, as we failed to see off the Canaries. We had enough chances to win, but couldn’t get the job done sadly. Kießling played well up front, acting more as a creator than scorer today.

POM: Stefan Kießling (7.7, 0G, 1A)

English Premier League - Game 32 - Wolverhampton Wanderers (Away)

Let’s see if we can do better against Wolves, also on the road. Fingers crossed!

Barnetta got them off to a flyer with a cracking volley on 6 minutes.

Kießling was found alone in front of goal a minute later by Wanyama, but fired straight at the keeper! Really terrible miss.

Iorfa was denied by Dragowski in the 14th minute, and fired the rebound wide too.

Clough hit the post in the 29th minute.

Kießling then hit the post up the other end just 4 minutes later!

Milik and De Paul replaced Kießling and Ward-Prowse in the 63rd minute.

Pjaca switched wings with De Paul. It took less than a minute for the changes to take effect, Pjaca lofting in a cross from the right, and Milik rising to bury the header!

Balic replaced Wanyama in the 76th minute.

Still can’t buy a win on the road! It didn’t matter how dominant we were, the chances that Tadic and Pjaca created continually went to waste. Very frustrating!

POM: Dusan Tadic (8.7, 0G, 0A)

You seem to create enough chances to decide these games, but Kiesling seems to have lost his clinical touch! Perhaps age is finally catching up to him :(

Maybe worth trying changing one of the wide players to attacking mentality to get even more running in behind Kiesling?

Not a bad suggestion actually, thank you :) I might try it soon, I've actually played the next three games already, so after those, you might see it :P

UEFA Champions League - Quarter Final First Leg - Bayern Munich (Home)

Bayern are one of the top couple of teams in the world, and as such, we’re probably favourites today! :P All jokes aside though, this is going to be really tough, make no mistake.

The first half was very cagey though, and nothing much happened for either team.

In the 48th minute though, we took the lead! Bertrand swung in a cross from out wide, and Milik managed to get to it first, turning it past Neuer from close range!

In the 64th minute Luan replaced Cedric, and Palombo replaced Mane. Tadic went to the right wing, and Palombo into DM.

Zivkovic replaced Tadic in the 75th.

Two minutes later Vidal found Lewandowski in the box after a throw in, and he turned and slammed into the bottom corner. Clinical.

In the 87th minute a massive slice of fortune saw us regain the lead! Wanyama and Boating both went for a ball in the box, and it fell for Bertrand, who had an open net and made no mistake, slotting his first goal of the season!

In the 89th minute Luan swung in a cross, and Javi Martinez pushed Wanyama - penalty! Could Milik beat Neuer from the spot? You bet! Top left corner! Ice cold from the Polish striker!

And that was that!

What an amazing result! We take a two goal lead to Germany, and whilst we’ve given up an away goal, we are still in a great position! Bertrand put in a sensational performance at left back, whilst Wanyama and Milik also played brilliantly to secure the result for us. Just 3 shots on target against the world’s best keeper, and 3 goals! A well-deserved result, as Bayern kept trying to shoot from range and didn’t create many real openings.

POM: Ryan Bertrand (8.8, 1G, 1A)

Three shots on target and three goals wow !! Your attackers were like snipers today Patrick ha ha !!

Wow, what an incredible result! Looks like your players were in lethal form, 3 shots and 3 goals! Now let's hope that you can keep them at bay in Munich aswell, would be quite an historic achievement :)
