Nezza's Narrow 4-2-3-1 ( v.2 ) updated in the thread, this is still the same tactic but with a more complex set piece

Hi nezza i?m testing your tactic in my long term saving in Portugal with a small team, just portuguese players from academy.
Can you give me your advice, about the three players that I have to use in atacking midfield. I give you SS for the players that I have. Wich players you use like a AP left? SS? and AP right?

We literally won the league on the last match day. We had amazing results during the first half of the season. Then we started to fall apart picking up draws and loses. This tactic scores a lot of goals, but concedes a lot as well. 112 goals for, 72 goals against. Maybe my defense and keeper weren't that good? We'll see what happens in season 2 in the Prem!

the ones with a left foot put them on the left and vice versa, the way the 3 screenshots are set up from left to right have them like that in the 3 roles AP,SS,AP for the tactic.

that's impressive mate but like you said you need better defenders and a good keeper, once you have improved your squad you will notice the difference and concede alot less and I can guarantee this :)

I would also suggest putting Flavio as a BWM as it states on his roles because his creativity is low

why is it that when your team performs very good this happens

it seems my players have gave up, Pratto was the highest scorer now he can't score a goal any more, so far he hasn't scored a goal in 10 games.

I remember this problem in FM13 and I would of thought SI would of fixed this.

Iv'e also notice that my players can't pass to each other and for some reason they manage to hit the cross bar about 3 times a game.

has anyone else notice this and is there a way to stop this? ( probably not with SI )

Iv'e created a Narrow deep 4-2-3-1 to stop complacently in the second half of the season, Iv'e just hammered Southampton 5-1 using this but I'm going to use it till the end of the season to see how it goes, if it's good enough I will add it to the thread.

We will wait!

it won't be long I have 4 PL games to go and a FA cup final, at the moment Iv'e went on holiday for the last 4 days to see how it goes, but if doesn't go well with my Assistant I'm going to reload my game and takeover myself

thread is updated with a Narrow deep 4-2-3-1 to stop complacently

Can you write PPM's for every player's positions/roles?
And do you use OI?

at the moment I don't use OI, and also it could take a while to set up certain PPM's to see if it improves the players.

but for the CWB's I have dribble down right/left flank, knock ball past opponent & pass instead of shoot this is very useful.

for the 2 AP I'm using the same PPM's as what Messi has so if you scout him and look on his information you will see his PPM's at the bottom right but at first I trained them to come deep to get the ball and it's done wonders.

for BPD/CB I use mark tighly and simple passing.

I'm still working on the BWM's, AF & SS but in the meantime Iv'e got them to develop there weaker foot and Iv'e also did this PPM for the AP & GK as well
