Don't think it's a good idea that Barcelona use our facilities; remember what happened the last time they were in London? Nyeh nyeh nyeh!

Samir Nasri is third for Arsenal Player of the Season, voted for by the fans.

Third? I thought he'd at least have made the top two, but this probably makes way for van Persie (second) and Wilshere (first (in my opinion), could be the other way around). Can't really think who else it could be; unsure about Fabregas and don't think anybody else is deservant of a place.

EDIT: Oops, completely missed fourth place.. it was Wojciech Szczesny, getting 2.9% of all votes.

3. Samir Nasri
4. Wojciech Szczesny

I can tell you in all fairness that, if whoever scouts Argentina for SI has any sense, he's gonna be massive next year.

Tomorrow Velez plays Libertadores semifinals (IDK if he'll start), but it's probably too late for you guys to watch. If any of you is interested in staying up late I'll try to remember posting a stream.

Mannone staying or going?

hope he stays as we need 3 gk's

Staying, I imagine. Don't see why he'd go since he won't get FT football at any other top club. Did well at Hull this year, I think.

would he accept being 3rd choice keeper though?

Yeah I've been checking Arsenal.com for this. It was so obvious that Wilshere and RVP would fight for first while Nasri took third and Szczesny snatched fourth.

News on Alvarez:

According to Young Guns Blog and another, Argentina-based, blog; Alvarez still has 3 years left to run on his contract and no deal has been completed yet. An Arsenal scout (Actually Richard Law, who's an executive, but same principle) is said to be attending his game tonight but Velez apparently want 15M Euros. He's similar to Galindo, apparently; 6' 3, left-footed playmaker. YG says he's "not needed".

I haven't seen much of Alvarez, except for some Youtube movies.. and he seems to be quick, a good dribbler with a brilliant left foot who can score some from outside the box which would be useful for Arsenal since we never try longe-range shots.. a new dimension would be good and Alvarez is the man for that.

Carl Jenkinson (Charlton) has agreed a deal with Arsenal, (4 years), he is young promissing right back.

I'd like Wenger to find RvP a partner, probably like Kévin Gameiro (Lorient striker), he is very quick, good off the ball and a "chichatiro" type of player. We need someone who can deliver during Rvp's absence.

I'd also like to see a defensive minded midfielder with good work rate...obviously this has been lacking a lot since Arsenal have dropped 4-0 to 4-4, and 2-0 to 2-3 (Newcastle and Tottenham)..why is this? Well, like I said, we lack someone who never stop running.. probably Scott Parker would be suitable.

What do you think?

I couldn't help but notice that Scott Parker started to lose his work rate as the season progressed for West Ham. There were times near the end of the season where he'd even be the one responsible for losing the ball and showed no desire to rush back to make the tackle. This may be because he was just frustrated with the team as a whole and the situation that they were in, but it could also be a showing of his fatigue over the duration of the season. Next time he'll be one year older, that certainly won't help matters. I agree that a very hard working midfielder would be beneficial, but I have my doubts as to whether Parker is the one to deliver that anymore. (Not for the full season anyway)

lets not forget he had a few injury concerns too, I think he will be the best man for Arsenal as he has got lots of experience and is well adapted to the EPL which is very important

True, he did have on and off injuries. Which is also something that Arsenal need to avoid. Too many injury problems throughout the season as it is. If he could remain injury free for long periods then he could certainly do a job, but I would not be too disappointed at all if the transfer window goes by without us signing him.

ha. inter just need replcaement of they XI. they have the oldest XI in seria a, next to AC millan.

most likely to for cambassio.

we need a ST that will stand at the 'shoulders' of the defense. chita and bent are good example, but AW prefers a built up play.

Arsenal new away kit.. Read that this is confirmed.
