I agree that Eboue needs to go, his errors are schoolboy, but i'm saying that AW bought Jenkinson for a reason, whether or not as a backup for Sagna, we'll have to wait to find out.

so any clubs hovering on Bendtner. it was baryen muich at december. maybe to replace old man Klose in the up comming years.

also heard of Sevilla on Denilson's radar.

he just signed a 4-year contrant recenlty. gonna be hard to leave him now.

Well I'd be more worried about the CL qualification and getting to Top4 next year than winning trophy at the moment.

Denilson on Sevilla's radar*

And not really re: Eboue - just means we get some cash for him.

That's a positive thought. Aim high and all that :/

Would any of you agree that winning the Europa League would be better than getting knocked out in the quarters of the Champions League?

Lol, though i can see where he is coming from, Arsenal cant afford to do what they did this season again, they'll likely end up in 5th place not 4th.

For Arsenal right now as they haven't won a trophy in ages, maybe.

Best case scenario ( Realistic one. ) would be getting to group stage in CL and then finishing 3rd and dropping to Europa. Then winning it and getting Top3 spot in Prem.

Team would win something for change & get the money from CL.

I don't think it's worth changing and aiming for 3rd just to win the Europa. What happens if they don't? Then they lose more in the long run.
Arsenal should just carry on how they are going. Who cares if they haven't won something? They've been in the CL for the last 15 years. Isn't that worthy of an achievement?

Well I dont assume that Arsene would lower his expectations next year. He will still start season with aim to win all 4 trophies.

I'm just saying it wouldn't be end of the world to drop to Europa from CL group stage. We get something like 20m for getting to group stage and Europa leagues prize moneys are better now ( still nothing compared to CL but still something. )

Who cares if they haven't won something? 1. Current players care. 2. Potential players care. 3. Fans care.

No, it's worth nothing whatsoever. It also means they have failed to win it for the last 15 years. Nobody looks/cares about who consistently qualifies for it, they look at who wins it.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that discussions with Samir Nasri over a new contract extension have slowed down due to a ‘little’ disagreement over the financial terms offered to the 23-year-old.

Nasri has just one year remaining on his Gunners contract and while talks have stalled recently, the possibility of a move to Old Trafford has been reported in the French media since last week.

Speaking with France legend Bixente Lizarazu for radio station RTL, Wenger said despite problems over the terms of Nasri’s new contract, he is still confident of sorting out a new deal.

“We’ve got a little financial disagreement but I’ll try to make him [Nasri] sign a new contract. I’ll work on that this summer. What is certain is that we won’t be selling Nasri to Manchester United.”

Since joining from Marseille in 2008, Nasri had struggled to make his mark after suffering a spate of unfortunate injuries. However, this season he has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top stars being rewarded with a place in the PFA Team of the Year.

‘There is a little disagreement over terms of Nasri’s new contract’, admits Wenger | Gooner Talk

So he wants more money? If he goes though the it wont be to Utd :)

Fair enough, I suppose.

We all know Wenger's stubborn financially and Nasri's performances have earned him a bumper contract..

Hope they sort it out ASAP. Getting a tad worried now - don't think he'd join Utd, though.
