its seriously ridiculous. Joss if this turns out to be you im going to be so disappointed

It's nothing to do with me. I don't agree with it all - but the tapping up is just ridiculous. Why should they get away with it? People say everyone does it, and it's technically not tapping up etc. etc. but other teams don't do it the same extent. It just ****** me off so I linked that article which provides evidence of tapping up, or circumventing of the FIFA rules on tapping up through using players.

Some dude called Julian Palacios. BUT HE HAS THE SAME FIRST LETTER OF HIS NAME AS JOSS OMFG

*conspiracy*
Ironically, that was a better constructed theory than most of the ones from the aforementioned bloke...

The 'conspiracies' I've seen him talk about are the Fabregas thing which I completely agree with, corruption at board-room level which I doubt but wouldn't surprise me considering some of the facts (link w Qatari Foundation etc.) - not that that's why they're successful, and "what they learn at La Masia" which is quite funny since so many of their players are *****, but god knows why they are. Not exactly something you "teach" from a young age.

And now they're setting up conspiracy websites. What's next? :D

? Arsenal Football Club aren't setting up any conspiracy websites. The guy who made that website could support any number of teams - Madrid, Inter, etc. Just because he posted an article about Fabregas and tapping up it doesn't make him an Arsenal fan ffs.

I think it's more i don't watch football inside England thats clouding my view...
But i have a VCR of the 2001/02 season and the are pretty beast :)

Someone's a bit touchy. Pretty clear that he was joking.

Zidanes Madrid, that is all i need to say.

Did they go a whole season unbeaten as well?

Oh.

Did Zidane's Real Madrid side get beaten 1-0 at the Bernabau by Arsenal, and knocked out of the Champions League? I think they did, you know.

Oh see I thought he was being serious. oO) Of course I know he was joking, doesn't mean I can't respond.

Oh Please Joss, the best side in the world, didnt win the European Cup, Actually didnt come close to it..... You where good, very good, best in England by a long shot. No doubt, but best in world. And i think your find the year he references, 2001-2 was the Year Zidane inspire Real to a champs league win, and arsenal didnt go the whole year unbeated( i am sure that was 2004)

Didn't say we were the best in the world, just pointing out that RM never went a season unbeaten and that we beat "Zidane's Madrid" in 2006 - a side which, despite being 5 years later was still based around Zidane as a key player and was still very good.

And we did come close to winning the CL - we had 10 men in the final and lost 2-1 thanks to an offside goal. Not being bitter at all - they deserved it, obviously. Just that to say we didn't come close is a lie.

Joss we are referencing different teams, He said " When he starting watching football, arsenal was the best side in the world" Which i replied to " You clearly didnt watch football outside england" he then said in 2001-02 they where pretty immense, and i simply put Zidanes RM in response, Which to me, Is telling him, they where the best side then.... You claiming arsenal beating an aging Madrid side signals you could of beat them.

Reel yourself in.

"Reel myself in"? Am I not allowed a different opinion to you?

I think I misread the original post though, to be fair. Didn't see the 01/02 bit so I assumed you were saying the best team you've ever seen or something.

Love how when I respond to people trolling (not Bath Manager), I get shot down and yet when I troll, I also get shot down.

Anyway, on a lighter note: Interesting article on Arsenal.com analysing Benik Afobe's loan. Seems like a really good prospect - gutted Huddersfield didn't win the playoff and he should be looking at a final loan next season in the Championship before trying to break into the team.

Your allowed a different opinion, but when you go off on a complete different point, is it kinda pointless and lets be honest completely pointless and boring. So that is why i was telling you to reel your kneck in.

Metro claim Lukaku has snubbed Arsenal by saying he will only play for a team in the CL: "It is going to be one of the top two or three clubs in England, or else I stay at Anderlecht,"

Still hopeful we'll sign him after Wenger said he will look to add height over the summer - "top 2 or 3" could easily mean us to be fair. I know we finished 4th in the end, but that doesn't really reflect our status/quality. If Chelsea sign Neymar, it could well open the door for us to sign Lukaku - he says he'll have to get used to not playing every game, but he'd hardly play at all at Chelsea.. Drogba, Torres, Neymar, etc. whereas he'd probably be 3rd choice at Arsenal behind RvP and maybe Chamakh.

LOL:

Old article, but Manuel Neuer apparently looks up to Jens Lehmann as his childhood hero:

Hardly, he will get adequate opportunities at Chelsea as Drogba's future is still uncertain and anyways I doubt Drogba will play much next season plus Lukaku has several times said how he would love to play in the same club as Drogba, he has been linked with us forever so right now I think Chelsea are the favourites to sign him but i would gladly give him up if we can get El Kun

Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin- Barcelona to Arsenal- Fees Undisclosed

Read this. Lol if we the two players become any good player then they will discover their Barca DNA.

And is it not unethical to poach Barca's youngsters (Assuming you did poach)

Drogba will stay at Chelsea, if they want Lukaku. No point selling hiim if they're after someone who idolises him.

Drogba's future is uncertain with Mourinho hanging around waiting to see what happens. I'm not sure he's thinking of leaving other than that tbh.

Chelsea are linked with pretty much every striker though. Looks like Neymar is on his way finally, so I don't see how he'd get many opportunities unless you sell Drogba and at least one of Anelka and Kalou if Aguero is also coming in. £50m Torres, Drogba, Kun, Neymar, Lukaku - he'd have to get past 4 world class strikers.
