Saw this today - thing is that he actually said it about 2 months ago but clearly goal.com (appears to be the original source) got bored and made this up. I really doubt he said players should "shut the **** up" somehow. You see him in interviews and he's the most respectful guy - with a small kid, too.
Also - we did badly in the Fair Play table partly because of a couple of professional sending offs as it were (can only remember Wilshere being sent off for something nasty) not because we surrounded the referee waving imaginary cards, which is what he's suggesting Chelsea do.

I doubt Mourinho is going to let him go easily. If he stays fit throughout pre season then he'll probably be back into the starting line up.

aye but I'd think Wenger would sign a top-class striker who can form a deadly partnership with RVP and cover for him when the fella gets himself injured, Sturridge is a fantastic prospect but not someone you would slot into your first-team right away
Not about Mourinho really. He wants him to stay I think, but Perez is putting him up for sale.
1. After reading Godcubed's article (I'll let him do the plugging and linking if/when he sees this), Sturridge isn't the sort of striker we need. The jist of it was that he's going to be most useful in a deeper, playmaking position similar to Rooney, but RvP already does that and has done all of his career - even when playing with Bergkamp.

David Villa insists he would welcome Cesc Fabregas back to Barcelona, and believes the Arsenal star deserves to return to his boyhood club.
The Spain striker took to the Spanish airwaves to describe the Gunners midfielder as his dream signing and urged the former Barca youth team player to return to Catalonia.
Speaking to Cadena COPE radio, Villa said: "As a player, everybody knows what Barcelona brings [for players]. And as a person, he (Fabregas) deserves to return to Barcelona, his family is here and it is where he started.
"Having him would be a great joy and I'd be happy for him because he deserves it, and I'd be happy to have him as my team-mate."
