10 goals and 13 assists suggests he had more than just one good game... He was mix and match. Good for a couple of weeks, then got complacent and when it came to the big teams he largely flopped because he didn't track back. Utd game at H was one of the only games he's done that, though.

Even then, though he wasn't actually tracking back as much as just getting his tackles in early in the opposition half, which was even more beneficial for us because it meant we could build counter-attacks quicker:

Cheeky Plug

Stats don't always tell the whole story, although maybe it's just me not being clear enough. My point is that his performance against United was a high point in a not so great season, and if he can keep it up for a whole season then he'll be a big asset.

BTW I remember a tackle by the russian after a run back into his own half, I'm guessing that's the yellow spot in your graph?

Quite possibly, or an interception/tackle lost.

The complete player. Was there anything he couldn't do?

Undoubtedly Arsenal's best ever player, and arguably the best to ever grace the PL. Absolutely superb and that video doesn't show the half of it.

One of my favourite Arsenal goals was his one at the Bernabau..

--------------------

Chamakh back to scoring form with an excellent goal against Algeria.

sell him, or tell him to buck up his ideas. had a poor season tbh.

we would have not won Barca at the emirates, or even won agasint everton after that lol offside fake call goal by saha. and even when where trailing 2-0 to wba, he shaked things up with the quick foot goal.

dont just spit **** on him just just 80(or 90) percent of his appearances ended as failures.

:D Great song, please sign Nasri or this great song will die :(

Why does she pronounce it "Sami Nasewri"? Good song though.

Pinch/bucket of salt. Twitter rumors.

Wenger has to cancel holiday after he received an alleged seven transfer request from various players..including Nasri, Arshavin and Fabregas apparently

misleading title as ever. Wenger says it's a financial problem and I think Wenger will probably concede to him in the end.

Optimistic still...

Hmm

Arshavin said he wanted to stay and was 99% sure he would yesterday or something..

Nasri we've just seen above doesn't know when his contract will be sorted but saying "I'm concentrating on international duty" or whatever it was suggests he's not thinking about that atm so I doubt that one's true..

Cesc could be true I suppose but I honestly believe that even if he wanted to leave now (which he's never actually said - he, like Bendtner said he wants to return to his boyhood club one day) I don't think he'd hand in a formal transfer request. If he did, it would certainly add fuel to the Mundo Deportivo rumours yesterday.

Trying to think of the others..

That's 3, then who? Denilson and Bendtner have already requested transfers I think.. Rosicky? Diaby? Clichy? Almunia?

Seriously doubt there's anything in these rumours as you say, who's the source?

Not Misleading..

Nasri said:
"I don't know if I will sign a new contract. Anyway, the discussions are ongoing. For the moment, I don't think about this. We will speak about it after the match with Poland.

Title exactly says what Nasri said unless his quotes are fabricated/lost in translation.

Have no idea about the source. Read in other forum.

Bendtner, Nasri, Cesc, Arshavin, Denilson, Sagna and Clichy

Like i said take it with a pinch of salt.

The title said "Nasri refuses to commit future to Arsenal". Maybe I've been playing too much FM but to me, that made me think: '**** - he's refusing to sign a new contract' when all he's saying (admittedly still quite worrying) is that he doesn't know if/when he'll sign.

Bendtner and Denilson handed in requests about 2 months ago, maybe that wasn't official, though and now it is. As I said, Arshavin said he was staying yesterday (look 1/2 pages back on the thread) and Nasri's away on int. duty (as is Sagna). Would be really shocked if Sagna put in a request. He'd undoubtedly be wanted by some of the top clubs in Europe though - particularly the Italian ones I expect. Best RB in the league for me.

Its not refusing as in never, should really be read as Nasri unsure about committing, but still a little worrying for Gunners

Could only seen B52 and Denilson doing it, and no real loss TBH

Yeah - I think I've been playing too much FM lol ("Nasri commits future to Arsenal" = Nasri signs new contract).

Lots of rumours flying around at the moment re: Arsenal - getting pretty worried tbh. Probably best by all accounts if I just don't go near the computer for the next three weeks!

By the way - just in case - Sunlivk: I wasn't trying to criticise the validity of your rumours or source or anything... More talking to myself lol. Cant really think of 7 players so I was going through in my head who that could be!

Saw that. Skimmed it. Largely dismissed it:

"if the new European champions come in with an offer of around £40 million, Arsenal will find it difficult to resist."

Valuation is at least 45M according to nearly every other source.

"Both Real *Madrid and Manchester City are keen on Nasri, whose *contract *status means that he would command a cut-price fee of around £10m."

Absolute tosh.

With only a year left on his contract I don't think 10m is outrageous in any way.

Lol, Even i didn't/dont believe that. I posted that here so that you can shed some light on it.

Twitter = Take it with pinch of salt.

But I have mu doubts on Nasri though. Ball is in his court and if Wenger refuse to meet his demands then I can dream about him at OT :)

Tbh i wouldnt mind ripping off Barca at around £50mil so we can laugh and enjoy watchin Cesc sit on the bench every week for Barca as Iniesta and Xaxi are still top dogs :)
Also Bendtner, Almunia, Diaby, Clichy, Rosicky and Denilson can all be off loaded as they are very easily replaced and not at a high cost, also it will stop the currently unsettled Arsenal dressing room.

In regards to buys this summer for Wenger i think the likes of: Cahill /Mertesacker, Benzema/ Higuian? ( who i have heard on madrid forums that he is unsettled at Madrid and wishes to play premier league football?)As well as someone like De Rossi or maybe Toulalan to bolster and 'hench-up' the midfield as the likes of Wilshere needs defensive help.

Also i wouldnt mind Wenger doing a cheeky swoop for Pato at Milan or even maybe a extremely cheekly mopve to swap Fabregas for Snjeider? ;)
