do we really need Rick Alverez ?

Don't think so - with the signing of Gervinho apparently imminent, and Nasri looking like he's not going anywhere. Plus we have Ryo Myiachi, Pedro Botelho who will hopefully be challenging for a starting spot in the next 2/3 years (when WPs etc. are sorted) - lots of players in his position at Arsenal already.

well Wenger has never been famed for his man-managerment skills, even Tony Adams said that the best compnent of Wenger was his knowledge in the physcological side of things while everyone who has worked under Mourinho such as Frank Lampard, Wes Sneijder have come out to say that Mourinho has been like a father figure to them

Not suprised really but again it may just be sour grapes by Diarra

Haters gonna hate. He was with us for a year, played out of position at RB because Flamini was so good that year.

For every player that "learnt nothing" under Wenger, there are so many more players who have. Players like Henry, Vieira, Pires would have been nowhere without Wenger. He saved Henry's career, transformed him from a poor, one-dimensional winger into a versatile, complete striker who is one of the best, if not THE best, striker to play in the PL. Vieira made 2 appearances for Milan in 2 years, Pires was mediocrity at Marseille.

Not sure why he's being such a **** - personally would have welcomed him back as a squad player, but not if he's going to be like that.

--------

Anyway - Just seen this: Absolutely brilliant/hilarious.

NB: Probably not something for Chelsea fans...

The reason i dont want Diarra at United. He is a mouthy **** and disruptive to dressing room.. Decent player though..

News: Villarreal have turned down an offer from Barcelona for striker Giuseppe Rossi, according to the player's agent.

Does this mean they perhaps may not be in for Fab?

Probably means they're even more likely to go for Fabregas, with the money that they would've signed Rossi with.

I love that away kit now, looks better than the first pics because the blue on those was really light and looked awful.

Meh, still haven't made a bid, christ, if they wanted him that badly, surely they should have bid by now.

They also insist they won't pay more than £35m - and suggest that's a generous bid because his "value has gone down" since winning the World Cup, getting a year closer to reaching his absolute peak, and having another good season. We won't sell unless they offer £45-50m, but they won't shut up until they get him.
