The Arsenal Thread

Not a bad draw. Would love to have some mid or lower table club to see how good we are, but Arsenal should be also amazing match for cup. We win it will be good boost for team and shows our quality. We lose and we can concentrate only to league

Mikel Arteta is set to become new Arsenal manager.

Today Man City has accepted - Pep Guardiola wanted him to stay but it’s a great opportunity for Arteta. Here we go! ? @dimarzio #AFC #ManCity #Arsenal

AFTV is targeted now by mainstream media and they want to try removing it as it takes away from their popularity. They now know fan channels like this are taking over the establishment doesn't like that.

Sure AFTV is controversial at times, but the media and talk sport are a ****** joke because that's literally ALL they've been doing throughout the years to make headlines and sell papers on controversy.

Its more like the fans have had enough of the same numpties every week with the same negative bollocks spouted for the last god knows how many years. Nothing to do with the main stream so much. AFTV is only targeted by them for the reasons stated. Unlike Utd stand and full time devils who actually went away from the same people and have started interviewing random fans again. AFTV will still have Claude, DT, TY etc going 50 years later with the same old ****. Fans have genuinely had enough and especially how Robbie is using it more to generate cash more than caring what the fans think.

What do Arsenal fans have to be happy about? What are they meant to do? Come out singing and dancing after a game when they've been utter *****....

I stand by AFTV because it remains a voice for the fans... do they milk it at times? Yes but so do Talk Sport, it's no different. Go and listen to them after a team like West Ham loses..... they are all over trying to get fans to call in and trash Pellegrini as an example.

Granit Xhaka has agreed terms with Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, according to the Arsenal midfielder's agent.

Craig Pawson is pure sh.it, that should be flushed down the toilet

Arteta sticking a style on the side already.. not bad. Hope he does well, club seems a bit of a shitshow behind closed doors though.

Xhaka is ****, pulling behind guy two times next to ref but no card...

Good game going on if someone wants stream let me know

Holy **** first half. This is the Leeds side PL teams must be scared next year. Need better finishing but the chances, pressing and overall playing is amazing. And Arsenal is not playing u23 team.

The intensity went away and gave them the second half. Lost by a lucky goal from Arsenal. Think we can still hold our heads up and now be on straight for a promotion run to have another run with Arsenal again next year.

But one thing is baffling, long time have seen this bad refereeing. Even old refs on twitter could not understand what is going on. Xhaka constant fouls not called or given card, in the end Sokratis deadlocking Leeds player legs with hands in front of side ref and nothing.

I am sure if Berardi would have done it, that would be red card as Leeds players are dirty... It was watched by VAR for red card and nothing. Understand that it is not hard hit but doing this during game should be no go. For offside they are measuring nano meters to get that offside by small armpit hair over the line...

But let it be this time, more time for league and promotion push.

Harsh lesson for Leeds in not taking chances.

The less said about Taylor's 'display' the better. Although that said, his bog-standard VERY questionable lax officiating did lead to a real competitive Cup-tie with Leeds giving a real good account of themselves.

Enjoyable watch.
