Righto.

Declare now, 346 is a massive lead.

Put them in and have the test over by 3 am, and the Ashes are rightfully ours again :)

i think they will let trotty try and get his 150 and maybe prior his century before declaring.

and maybe aim for a 400 lead just for psychological reasons.

but i agree we should declare sooner rather than later
 
I think England should declare now as they have a huge lead but I reckon they will wait until Trott gets out.
 
I reckon we bat until lunch and declare then. We'll have around a 420 lead by then, hopefully, and the Aussies will need at least 600 to be in with a shout, so we'll be sorted.
 
I would give it until half way through the afternoon session, should be 450-500 ahead then. Try to take at least 4 wickets before the end of the day and have it done early on the next day

and i really hate Siddle, not sure what it is, i think its his face when he celebrates wickets, its very Bret Lee like, instantly ****** you off.

Pleased it isn't just me then! I notice he isn't quite so chirpy in this game and giving our players a send off. Why would that be then? Typical mouthy Aussie.

He just irritates me intensely, out of all the aussie bowlers i like watching him get smacked!

and mitchell johnson a close second because when he plays well he thinks he's gods gift.

i have no problem with hilfenhaus or harris both honest hard working bowlers, and no smug attitude in winning situations.

i suppose the aussies will hate Jimmy for similar reasons though tbf... just the heat of the battle and all that ^^)
 
Trott just needs to bat through with bresnan. A partnership of 50 would be great however Bresnan has a first class average of over 40 so he is not shabby
