***THE BETTER HALFS TACTIC UPLOAD & DISCUSSION

I never thought this tactic would work but thought id give it a go with Southampton as i needed a new save. Ive just beaten them 4-1 and scored some amazing goals in the process. Brought life back into FM13 in my opinion as its gotten very, very boring of late. Well done Sir

Thanks :D

I am currently using it with Southampton to and we are sitting top of the league. Mind you, we have had a really easy fixturelist and are boud to start loosing matches as the opponents get tougher

No matter how good a tactic or team you possess, the game will always find a way to make you lose. In fairness its realistic but insanely frustating at same time!

The game does not find a way to make you lose, just like it does not make you win. YOu win some and you loe some, thats about it

The Tactic is made in the Classic Tactic mode, not with the Tactic Creator. YOu can play the GAME in either the full mode or the FMClassic. In FMClassic, you can only use the Tactic Creator, hence this tactic can only be implemented in the Full game

i must say this produces some of the most beautiful football ive seen in a long time. 1st time ive seen he ME "work properly" this year. thank you TheBetterHalf. still early days in my save, i'll post some screenies and feedback when im deeper into the season. just had to come and say, job well done! keep it up :)
 
awesome formation. should work with any match strategy.

dunno if it's offtopic: I used your formation too, but created it with tactic creator + shouts. based on how I think van gaal would play. control strategy, rigid, stick on position, pass on feet, high d-line, wider play, passing down both flanks, STCR as target man with pass on feet, MCR as playmaker general, aggressive pressing on whole pitch and attacking AML + MR. it easily won me triple in 2028 with my young bayern munich team. in comparison with my left flank, the right one scored 2 times more goals and made 3 times more assists.

I'm managing Weston Super Mare also....been trying another tactic out with mixed results. Will try this tactic out when I get home from work.

Will be interesting to see how you go! Please keep us updated!

Thats what i like to call "bullshit". If that was the case then in the many years the games been about somebody would have perfected the game, as it is just a 'game', and be unbeatable.

If you think for a second there isnt anything in the game which sees how good your doing and stacks the odds against you so you dont win every single match then delusion may have occured.

Otherwise, match engine exploitation tactics would guarantee you never lost right?
 
suggestion: crossing "far post" for DL. roughly 50% of crosses will find the striker, which is much more than i have had with "mixed" setting
