While this pretty much goes against what I said, I disagree. I still want Neymar because I don't think it would affect Sturridge. I know they are similar players, but if they were both at Chelsea it would work perfect with Neymar on the left and Sturridge (or even Kakuta if he adds consistency) on the right both playing just off Torres. However I think if we got somebody like Sanchez he would most likely play as a right winger (although he operates better centrally we don't really have a position that would suit him) I think he would affect Sturridge's position in the team.

If we are going to sign a wide player it should be one of Neymar or Sanchez not both. Sturridge can play either side so he is versatile and either of the above could go the opposite side with Torres through the middle.

Can understand that if you dont sign another wide player ie Falcao, which i assumed Chelsea were doing. But if thas not the case that is ok, but we agree on the idea of not blocking talent

Really bad ketchup, until its on SSN or BBC i won't believe

originally from the Daily star, although some of what it says about the other bids is true so who knows? All i know is that Sanchez must be signed before the Copa America

I've been saying this for SO long. But every time I say it, I get knocked back and Chelsea fans say they'd rather spend lots of money and have success immediately and essentially ignore those players (See posts saying: "I want Modric/Neymar/Pastore/Insert random European name here").

Same with Modric interest - McEachran has the chance to be a top class player, but he won't if Modric commands a big transfer fee and the manager feels he has to play him. Just like Sturridge didn't get a chance at Chelsea because Torres was brought in, out of form, and Ancelotti desperately tried to fit him - like a square peg in a round hole - because he cost £50m and it would look silly if he just dropped him.

Yes, McEachran probably needs a loan to reach his potential quicker, but he also needs games at Chelsea. I can easily see him breaking through like Wilshere did for us, but not if they sign Modric.

On yer bike, son.

We are not ready to build our team around Josh yet and Lamps is getting on hence why we need a top class CM right now... Modric is 26 and in 6 years he will probably be phased out to make way for Josh who will be 23/24 by then, its a good plan and if we buy Modric, I suggest we send Josh onto loan to a PLM side and then rotate him until Modric/Lamps/whoever retires and he has good enough experience to step in

Neymar wont block Sturridge at all, infact he will complete our team

I have posted this formation up loads of times but i suppose i will do it again

Neymar-----Torres-----Sturridge

if we are to assume AVB keeps with his 4-3-3

and with Malouda, Drogba and Benayoun as cover

only blip is both Anelka and Kalou will have to leave but i really dont care if we manage to get sucha front line

Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro has confirmed five clubs in Europe have agreed to pay Neymar's €45 million release clause.

hm..

Anzhi out of the question

Barcelona, i really doubt it, they are only willing to go upto 35m for Fabregas so how the heck are they willing to pay 40m for Neymar

Our only hope is that Neymar wants to play in the PLM not the La Liga... that would make us favourites

City are not interested in Neymanr. Im pretty sure of it. Barca have no way agreed to match the price. And Neymar wont go to Russia..that's for sure.

If it's Madrid v Chelsea...there is only 1 winner IMO. Real Madrid...even Pele advised him to go there because he says Neymars physique is not suited to the premier league. And i agree....

Hernandez physique was not suited to the PLM either but he still came here and worked hard and did not lose much pace... btw his agent is a good friend of Roman and I am sure if we persuade him enough he will arrive

and BTW, barca want sanchez too.. so i dont see them signing both.

Looks like Aguero is going to Juve. Surprised that Chelsea were not involved in the transfer as he is way safer bet than Neymar and would have flourished as LW in 4-3-3 and also play as CF. To top it all he is excellent professional and from what i heard "Down to earth" attitude.. Last season Chelsea were in for him, but this season they are not.. Should have gone for him..

dont know why he has decided to go to Juve... they are no better than At Madrid atm, both are not in the CL and dont have that good chances of winning the league next season although Juve have a higher chance than At Madrid do at winning their respective league's.. I would give u that

I think we did not go for him cos we were always in for Neymar and knew that a bid for Aguero would result in a bidding war as I do not think Aguero has a release clause

Aguero has release clause, and you could have got him for less than what you will be paying for Neymar.

Oh and btw Juve will always be bigger club. They had few **** seasons helped by falsipolli, but they are massive club..

Aguero's release clause only applies within Spain

yeah but right now they are not in the CL for starters... would probably get there next season but really I would not back them to win trophies anytime soon really
