Thats pretty harsh, if we are having a bad season it wont just be down to one player that is very harsh. There is no point splashing out 30mill+ for a player that might not be better Cole if we already have 2 players who might not be better than Cole and count as home grown. Your lack of faith in PVA suprises me alot, infact your the only Chelsea supporter i have spoken too that actually dosent rate him.

There is a massive chance he wont become as good as Cole but that wont be because PVA is ****. That will be because of how good Cole is/was. Cole for all his off the field **** will go down as proberly the best English left-back of all time and maybe the most decorated. The man has won the most FA Cups as a player and is Englands most capped full-back and has 2-3 years to add too that. We either splash out 30mill for a player that proberly wont be as good as Cole or we use what we got which also proberly wont be as good as Cole.

But who is worthy?? No-one in my eyes, there are alot more possitives to give PVA or Bertrand a chance to take his spot then to splash out more money on a position we already have 2 decent young players in.

You obviously don't rate him a lot from what you've been saying. I can't see many left backs being better than Cole, there's some players you just can't replace - because they're that good. Ashley Cole is [IMO] the best ever English left back and one of the best ever in the world we'll struggle to replace him with somebody who is as good or better than him, whether that's PvA or Coentrão. I rate PvA very highly and I think he is definitely good enough to be our left back after Cole, he won't be as good as him IMO, but like I say Cole is an amazing player. And remember every player is inexperienced at some point so if he's given some games or a loan (which I'd rather avoid) then he can gain some experience and be ready for first-team football.
De Gea is replacing VDS btw, and the other goalkeepers are not good enough to be #1.
Because they aren't good enough. We go on about how good McEachran, Sturridge, Bruma and PvA are, but it's all pointless if we buy players who will be ahead of them in the pecking order.
what a nonsensical post. De Gea is 20 and has to potential to world class, that cannot be said about our other keepers. And VDS is retiring

But we've already tested the back up goalkeepers excluding Lindegaard who was injured to find out if they are good enough. While PVA and Bertrand have barely played for Chelsea and the latter has barely played any club football in the past 6 months. Chelsea need to try out these two players before spending £30m on someone.
PvA can be a world class LB! But it's very unlikely he'll be better than Cole because he is one of the best EVER LBs.
What keepers do they have who are at a very decent level for a youngster?? None.
I've been saying this for SO long. But every time I say it, I get knocked back and Chelsea fans say they'd rather spend lots of money and have success immediately and essentially ignore those players (See posts saying: "I want Modric/Neymar/Pastore/Insert random European name here").
Same with Modric interest - McEachran has the chance to be a top class player, but he won't if Modric commands a big transfer fee and the manager feels he has to play him. Just like Sturridge didn't get a chance at Chelsea because Torres was brought in, out of form, and Ancelotti desperately tried to fit him - like a square peg in a round hole - because he cost £50m and it would look silly if he just dropped him.
Yes, McEachran probably needs a loan to reach his potential quicker, but he also needs games at Chelsea. I can easily see him breaking through like Wilshere did for us, but not if they sign Modric.
