Looks asif all the top teams are bidding for the same players so they are nearly guarenteed atleast one.

Oh.. But the point is if Juve's bid is accepted, Chelsea could have matched that as he is too good a talent to lose..

Definitely, clearly they have other priorities, but i would have take him over chasing Neymar

well tbh... we may as well match that bid depending on how the Neymar transfer goes, its really up to Andre-Villas-Boas and who he wants but right now he has not even got his staff in place so we will have to wait a few more weeks before we actually decide to go for a player

Isent Aguero's natural position a centre forward??

CF AMC can play AML too, would have fit it if AVB insists in playing two up top. But if he isnt can see why they turned away,as he much prefers the middle to out wide

Well everywhere he has gone (yes only 2 clubs) he has played a 4-3-3 and working under Jose too he plays a 4-3-3. From what i hear he will stick with a 4-3-3 so players like Neymar and Sanchez make more sence i think.

Yeah he is equally good playing as AML. I have seen a game where he torn Barca's whole defense to new one when they won 4-3. He played from left side, (He played most of the games as AML that season) and looked quality player. He was absolutely brilliant. If Chelsea goes back to 4-3-3 then he is tailor made as AML..

he played 4-3-1-2 also last year, but if he stays 4-3-3 then i agree

Still dont really see the point of Neymar....

But he isent a natural wide player is he. One thing Chelsea lacked last season was width.

I see him more of a wide player than Aguero, would be a massive gamble though because he is lightweight and the woeful diving. If he wants to play a 4-3-1-2 then it would make sence why he wants Falcao. Plus it Aguero would have cost us what nearly 40mill and Falcao only 26 so its a no brainer.

Not Natural wide player, even Neymar wont provide any width. This is like asking Messi to provide width.

And I dont know how you are saying Aguero would have cost 40 Million coz looks like Juve are getting him way less than that. And with Torres I see no point in signing Falcao. Aguero would be perfect for Torres who likes to operate behind the striker.

He would provide more width than Aguero though thats the point. I personly think we are more intrested in Sanchez to be honest. Aguero would be perfect partner for Torres if we play 2 upfront but Falcao only costs 26mill lol, its a steel.

I got your point about Falcao. I see him more as a back up for Torres as he cant half do what Aguero is capable of outside the box.

Point is no way Neymar will provide any width. He likes to cut in from left side everytime he gets the ball. He wont get to byline to whip in the cross. I dont see any difference in the way they both play.

Thats why i think we have up'd our intrest in Sanchez all of a sudden.

Why do Chelsea need an out and out left winger anyway? It's not like Torres particularly thrives on crosses, and Ashley Cole has showed time and again that he is willing to bomb forward to provide width

We don't IMO we have Zhirkov and we don't usually use out-and-out wingers anyway, but we need a winger, to me it doesn't matter whether it's an out-and-out winger or an inside forward.

Because Ashley Cole is not particuly great at crossing, infact its one of the things he isent great at. Because at times last season we were way too narrow and teams just flooded the midfield and gave us no-where to go.

Fair enough, you need width, but I'd suggest a right winger rather than left as Cole can provide the width on that side. Neymar or Aguero would be great signings for the AML slot that would allow Cole to overlap. Also, Sanchez will cut inside regularly with the ball, so he's not really going to provide width as often as an out and out winger. With the increasing trend in playing inverted wingers, and the way that AVB utilised Hulk last season, I'd expect Chelsea to play at least one

Well Sanchez can play wide right but i personly would play Sturridge wide right cutting in on his left foot.

That is a good point, Sturridge needs more starts this season. The problem of width though would have to be solved by an attacking fullback - Bosingwa or a new fullback? Van Der Wiel?
