Although the signing of Gael Etock from Barcelona has not been confirmed yet or even on any decent reliable website here is a few clips of the lad anyway.

indeed. like iniesta and xavi. dont count messi, cuz he is a forward, not a playmaker ;>

and maybe Josh and Modric/Sneijder + Ramires between them.. it will work :)

It sounds good but i dont see Ramires as a destroyer, i think we are keeping Mikel for the long run. I see Ramires as a potential goalscorer, he has the Brazilian flair of beating players and if he done that more often he would get more goals.

Last season, he played couple of games as a destroyer, although i think Essien is the best for the job ;) so Josh-Essien-Sneijder would be great :P

Think it's Pastore. Zola is apparently going to be unveiled tomorrow so I'd think he's already in London if that's the case.

Personally I would much rather get Pastore than Modric. Modric is similar to Josh imo, he likes to come deep to collect the ball, play simple passes etc. While Pastore adds pace to an attack gets goals and assists (which Modric doesn't) and is only 22!

Have you watched many of his(Pastore;s) games bud? I mean, from what ive seen, i think he is a little bit overrated in terms of his skills, i mean he aint poor or something, just not better than Sneijder for example. I mean, we have alternative choices here. :)
and all that im saying is from personal judgement, from what ive seen. and i aint seen much :)

Well i hope your right and its what i thought. If we wanted to do a deal with Zola then surely he would be over here from the off. But to sign a player someone from the club has to go see the club we want to buy the player off so yer maybe it is Pastore. From what i have seen he has the right stature to play in the PL and could do well.

I havent seen much but he has been talked about alot worldwide and for 22 thats no mean feat.

yer he has . maybe he is excellent player.
and BTW, do your sources exclude the possibility of bringning even Sneijder? I mean, you said Italy and Im thinking why not :P

From what I've seen (which is a fair bit) he's a very good player. Sneijder is older and more experienced, but they are different players. I mean they are both playmakers but have different playing styles. Personally I don't who I'd prefer between Pastore and Sneijder they're both great players and I'd welcome either of them.

Pastore seems the be the msot likely signing as he is young, Sneijder is too expensive and a Modric transfer may not even take off as Daniel Levy will fight tooth and nail to keep him and it will be expensive

Palermo are cash strapped? I thought Owner is very rich and they are under no financial problems. :S
 
Palermo are well ran but they haven't sold since 14 million sale of Cavani to Napoli and the nutjob president always comes out claiming astronomical bids for Pastore. Realisticly they would take around 28 million euros for him...
Anyway my reason for posting lol, betfred special on Chelsea title odds 9/4 normally BUT between 10am and 12pm today at any betfred shop/phone/website they're 3-1 to win the title. Thinking of nipping to the bank and slapping 10-20 quid on it at those odds. Got alot of faith in AVB <3, somehow I predicted his appointment 2 months ago when I made my sig and got laughed off with my theory... I'm no Derren Brown but I tell you what when Hiddink was favourite I slapped 13 quid on AVB at 9-1 most I've ever won so hopefully this bet will be right as well.

Zamperini: Chelsea keen on Pastore



it says €50 million which is roughly £45 million. So I extremely doubt we can get him for less than £45. :) Thats why Im telling you that we have alternative choices. Sneijder for example - we can get for £40-£45 tops.

50 million is utter nonsense, ok sure we are loaded but not that much lol... I think he has been misquoted maybe because 50m is wayyy too much for him
 
A player is only non-transferrable until a team like Chelsea comes in and makes a ridiculous offer they never expected to receive. Still think he'll go this Summer.
