Chelsea considering entering race to signing of Nasri if we cant get Modric
Chelsea consider entering the race for Arsenal's Samir Nasri | Football | The Guardian

dont know what all the fuss is about him tbh, he had a good half-season at Arsenal then fades away badly... I rather we signed Pasotre for 25-35m who is much younger, Nasri is a great player but in all his time at Arsenal he has hardly lit up the EPL except for one half-season and he is more of a wide forward than a CM anyways so no thanks

WHAT A GOAL BY KUN! CMON KUN COME HERE BOY!

This is the reason why I am not yet getting too excited about McEachran. I have already had high hopes for 3 youngsters in recent years ( Mancienne, Sinclair and Cork) but none have made it.

All 3 of them didnt impress at first team level with Chelsea though.

He had a good half playing CM and then Fabregas came back and Nasri got shunted out wide. He is much more effective as a CM and who didnt have a poor end to Arsenals season??? Its what they do

I still pine over Sergio Tejera, Arnesen should never have let him go. Sensational playmaker prospect he is :S

yer no dout, and he is taking it all back..
whatever. i just hope we appoint Zola as DoF, that would be the ultimate appointment :)

hardly we only gave him players we know wont excel in the EPL like Gokhan and Sala.. he has brought players like Dani and Josh through the ranks as well as Brums

Good news lads, just checked up on Rajkovic and 6 years on he's finally got enough international games to get a work permit so hopefully he gets some sort of chance this season alongside Luiz. That's assuming he doesn't get farmed out again on loan, would love to see him try and spit at Howard Webb lol. (Google it if your puzzled by the context).^^)

Club

PSV Eindhoven

FC Twente

Looks like he has gained some experience.

Exactly and not forgetting he has an eredivisie winners medal with Twente and at 22 he's been a Chelsea player for 6-7 years so you would assume he's ready...

although I dont think he will manage to get into the squad, we have 4 CBs (if we count Brane) and if all the reports are right, AVB is looking for another one, English one. So :| we will see;]

I was just having a look at Arsenal transfer rumours and I found it quite amusing that Arsenal have more players looking set to leave this summer than arriving:

Ces Fabregas- Barcelona

Samir Nasri- Manchester United/Chelsea/Manchester City

Denilson

Bedenter

Gael Clichy- Manchester City

Rob Van Persie- according to newspaper reports, he is weighing up his own future at the club

While the only player I have seen Arsenal linked heavily with is Gervinho

So much for Wengers 10 year Youth plan

Er... how does that not justify Wenger's 10 year plan?

most of your key players leaving before arguably any of them reach their peak because supposedly they are frustrated with recent seasons at the club...

Not saying all of this is true but with the recent media spin one cant help but speculate that a key player will probably leave Arsenal this summer

I find it quite funny that no one wants your players because they're all old and decrepit. We're linked with plenty of players, and there's not a chance that all of Van Persie, Fabregas and Nasri will leave.

And who are Chelsea linked with? De Bruyne and Lukaku... But it's Wenger who needs to stop signing young players :/ Oh yes, and Modric - but Spurs told you to **** off, and you've since been linked to several players you're not going to sign.

Sure, but have you worked out the frankly ridiculous profits Arsenal make on all of these sales? This will only help them in the time of FFP, for example.

Who the media link with Arsenal is pretty scattergun. Wenger won't be stupid enough to not replace those that leave, you can be sure of that.

yeah they would make huge profits but ultimately it is the team that will suffer cos of the departure of key players and yes Wenger will probably replace them but lets face it... its going to be a delicate situation getting in a new player and builidng your team around him so that he can replace Fabregas not to mentioned the physcological effect it will have on the rest of the players if the likes of Fabregas, Nasri and Clichy leave in the same window which will prompt other players to weigh up their futures

First of all: LOL - GC isn't an Arsenal fan...

Secondly; just lol. Nasri's "frustration" comes from wanting lots of cash, Cesc's from wanting to return to his boyhood club, Bendtner and Denilson from not playing (so that's two players that haven't turned out as good as expected out of how many?) and RvP's is just funny. Coming from The Daily Star, and recycled by a load of journalists on a slow news day
