I really hope we go for him, not pay 50mil for Pastore... Modric way way better and cheaper;]

I think 35-45million and a unhappy player may be enough for Spurs to sell him to us. Id prefer Modric over Pastore anyday.

45 is a lot.
35 is fine.

im still thinking for 45 we can get a playmaker of Sneijders calibre. So no.
35 is the right price I think for Luka.

Redknapp is Zamparini number 2.

If Luka wants to go, they will sell him for 35 with no problem. Cuz nobody wants an unhappy player in his squad, not to mention that this is their key player we are talkin about, their playmaker, their engine.. an unhappy playmaker? think about it ;]

of course harry will laugh at that price cuz he wants him to stay and by laughing the price and praising Modric he is actually trying to brush off any interest that comes in.. clearly.


we will see though, Modric is classy playmaker, and he is welcome at the Bridge.
 
Would love to see Modric at the Bridge, for one he is far more experienced that Pastore and will cost a good deal cheaper too... and he is already used to the PLM so thats another plus
 
Chelsea have made an enquiry about Nasri according to ssn. Also ssn reported about Falcao saying he would prefer a move to the premier league over la liga
 
Michael Emenalo is on the verge of being named as Chelsea's new sporting director, BBC Sport understands.

The 45-year-old former Nigeria international will fill the role vacated by Frank Arnesen, who has taken up a similar position at Hamburg.

Emenalo joined the club in 2007 as head opposition scout and was made assistant first-team coach after the departure of Ray Wilkins in November last year.

He represented his country at the 1994 World Cup, winning 14 caps.

He had a brief spell with Notts County in the mid-1990s and he also played in the USA, Spain, Germany and Israel.

Emenalo will work with new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Among Arnesen's responsibilities were transfer dealings and oversight of the academy.

would be happy with both transfers tbh... lets see how this goes although I give it a week before we do business of any kind in the transfer market

Yeah and also can see the Nasri saga going on for atleast a few more weeks myself

doubt he will come to us tbh, will probably choose United that is if United are interested after all... I think we will get Modric and tbh... Modric>Nasri and he is not much older than Nasri anyways

Yeah I wrote on the transfer rumour thread earlier today I think Manchester will be Nasri's destination.
