think the Modric deal is dead in the water now. I say go all out for Sneijder now.

I would rule out Pastore now to be honest, he's Inter bound from what I know/can see...

Sneijder now becomes back on the market in my eyes, Pastore+Coutinho midfield looks like Inter's plan.

I would LOVE Sneijder to come, but looks highly unlikely, as united look like the current favourites, unless we offer him better wages, and he is desirous to live in London. which is again - highly unlikely.

AP Line:
Wagner Ribeiro says any decision on Neymar maybe moving from Santos to Europe lies solely with the 19-year-old sensation.
The agent would not offer details of the offers from the Spanish clubs.
Both clubs, along with Chelsea and Manchester City, are reportedly willing to pay the —45 million ($64 million) buyout clause in Neymar's contract.
Neymar's agent says the player who helped lead Santos to the Copa Libertadores title wants to play for the Brazilian club at the FIFA Club World Cup in December.
Ribeiro says Barcelona is willing to wait for Neymar, but that Real Madrid wanted him "yesterday."

No real news, the DailyFail just picking up a quote down the line from the AP from his agent Wagner, claims Barce and Madrid have offered for him but he wants to play for Santos at the Club World Cup...

I think we have a good chance of signing Sneijder, his wife is a proper wag and would easily prefer the shopping in Fulham road to the Trafford Centre lol.

Would rather Nasri stayed at Arsenal and Chelsea bring in someone like Gourcuff/Montolivo/Ganso personally.

Gourcuff has had no rumour lines because he had a pretty bad season at Lyon but the guy is immensely talented and tailor made for the Premier League

as long as 2009 (i think) doesn't happen again. so many links/rumors...

in my opinion Gourcuff is made for a team like Arsenal, maybe we lack some Brazilian creativity, so I'd rather have Ganso. But still, we are talking hypothetically.

Have arsenal responded to our enquiry about nasri?

dont think so.

BTW, is Walcott available? Better sign him instead of Nasri. He is a powerful winger. It looks like we are not even in the race for Sanchez anyway. and we need a powerful winger, in case Sturridge is not in the AVBs plans. a good winger is a must.

I have a sneaky suspicion that a move is being planned for Diego Forlan by Gourlay and co...

His agent is saying that he has many offers on the table and one from Turkey looks appealing but Forlan want's to stay at the top level and is 'hoping' that English clubs firm up their interest in him. If he was going to go to Turkey he would have moved by now, he wants Spurs/City/Chelsea/Someone to firm up their interest in him.

I just have this feeling that Chelsea will offload Anelka and bring in Forlan to play Anelka's role at the club, maybe a swap but more likely sell Anelka and bring in Forlan. Can't describe it but Levy wont buy Forlan for 8 million when he thinks Harrys jumping ship next year for the England job and doesn't want to be stuck with Forlan on big wages who the new manager might not want.

I just sense he could be heading to the Bridge anyway...

Too old.

Disagree, he has 2 years left in him at the top.

Not saying he will come, I just get the sense he might...

It's either Chelsea or Spurs in my mind if he comes to England which is where he wants to come...

You say he's too old but with Roman/Gourlay you never know...

P.S This is my pure spidey senses tingling!

Wish your spider senses would tingle towards Messi, Aguero, Pastore

(I went a bit Argie there ^)

XD

Aguero is still a huge possibility but even he has said he has an offer from Juventus on the table and will decide after the CA, problem is we can all see he is exactly what Chelsea need but we don't know if Roman/Gourlay see that. Juve have an offer/deal in place and we haven't even made a bid for him yet, I guess in the coming days AVB will decide on whether to pay for him or not but everyone can see he is a quality player going into his prime and is exactly what Chelsea need to be a force up front again with Torres/Drogba/Aguero...

If Chelsea don't get him or go for him it would have been AVB's decision because everyone knows Chelsea could get him it's just a case of whether they wanted him...

Messi- No Chance.

Pastore- Chelsea haven't even been mentioned in a recent Zamparini quote, looking unlikely, think he's off to Inter. :(

Ganso- Latest news is he is like Neymar he wants to play for Santos in the WCC in December so I would guess any move for him or Neymar would be completed in January. I say he wants to play for Santos, with Ganso it's more Santos want him to play in it...
Still AC Milan in prime position.

Why can't I bring good news for once...

Please not Diego. I have hated him for as long as I can remember. Just do, don't ask. Please AVB, no Forlan.

If her wife has a big say in his transfer then most likely he will stay at Milan. ;)

Atletico Madrid remain hopeful Manchester City target Sergio Aguero will still be at the club next season despite the Argentina international's recent declaration he wants to leave.

Aguero announced in a statement on his personal website in May that he wanted to move on after five years with Atletico and the 23-year-old has since been linked with possible moves to Real Madrid, Juventus and the Blues.

Atletico are also unwilling to enter into negotiations with other clubs regarding Aguero, who has a buy-out clause of 45 million euros in his contract.

Sporting director Jose Luis Perez Caminero said: "At this moment, Atletico feel Kun Aguero is an asset to our squad and we're not considering him leaving and, therefore, neither are we considering any negotiations for him.

"He's one of the best players we can find and we trust that when the Copa America finishes he will return to Atletico Madrid and be as important a player as he has been in previous seasons."

We are a team who want to have the best players and Kun is one of those. What we want is that the lad finishes the Copa America, comes here and continues to show what a great player he is and helps make this team better."

He added on his club's official website: "He (Aguero) has to realise that the club don't want to lose him, that everyone here hopes he stays and that if we manage to change his mind it would make us all happy.

"There are few players like him in the world and Atletico Madrid have this player. The only thing that we're thinking about is Kun continuing to wear the Rojiblanco shirt next season.

"When he comes we will try to help him stay, because the important thing is that a decision is taken for the good of the club and the player, who knows that he has a buy-out clause of 45 million euros."
