I'd look at it from another view mate, i wouldn't be surprised if the 3 are Costa, Torres and Bamford. Still believe Lukaku will be off.

I'm pretty sure you were the one (among many) that said "If Costa gets injured we're ******" ; "We can't rely on Torres and Lukaku" etc. What's happened since then?
We absolutely need another striker if you ask me. What if Costa flops too? Jose knows this is it. He either wins or he's gone. I'm pretty sure he assesses the risk of having Lukaku and Torres only.
We have money. Use it.
I said we can't rely on Torres or Ba to lead the line for an extended period of time. I never said we can't rely on Lukaku if Costa is injured/loses form. I think Lukaku is a good second-choice striker. Problem is whether he is content with remaining second-choice
Rumours of Khedeira picking up now. Apparently Mourinho called him to try to convince him to join Chelsea. Problem is that Arsenal have already lodged a substantial bid that we are unwilling to match. Plus I doubt either side is willing to pay the reported £150k p/w wages

If costa flops you have torres and lukaku , if you dont want them then you have bamford who was immense last season , if you really dont want him aswell you can play schurlle upfront heck you even have Feruz who I have big hopes for .. we should really stop buying backup players , we have a lot of players in the squad at the moment and it should be more then enough for a great season .. the only player I would like now is Pogba , but that's not a must.
I am am pretty sure Bamford will be sent out on loan. Nowhere near ready for Chelsea. Agree with you on Schurrle though. Always a nice option to have if everything else fails . Fetus will probably go on loan as well though ... Don't think he will have a career as a centre-forward in any case. Too short
But yeah I definitely think we need a new CM. Pogba/Vidal would be immense but expensive and unrealistic atm. Khedeira is a very good option. He would be a clear upgrade to Mikel on so many levels. Talking about Mikel, we have apparently been shopping him out to clubs for £5m adding credence to the Khedeira rumours
Best friends with certain Mesut works into our favour. Both have Germans on the squad, but we have more. With us he'd be first choice with Rambo on the middle whereas with you he'd face more competition.
20mil is substantial bid? Doubt that amount is holding you back for player of his calibre. I think that 150k is wide off mark. Marca were reporting he was looking improvement on his current 75k to 105k which is quite reasonable.

Not entirely sure on transfer fee and wages ... Just going off different things I have read but I really hope Chelsea give Arsenal some competition for his signature if the transfer fee and wages are as low as you say they are

I agree with you on Feruz being short but that's the point , we have to try and give the youngsters a chance .. we have so many good youngsters in so many positions who don't get chances and it really ****** me off , I really think Bamford can be a backup for PL ...
And for the CM positions , if we dont get vidal/pogba I really think we should also give Baker a chance .. Such a quality player who (like bamford) had an immense season.
And I think we can get more than £5m .. he is still quite young and he can play in both AMC and CDM .. he should go for more than £10m

Dont think that's realistic at all mate. Bamford had a good half season in the Championship. He is nowhere near good enough to lead the line for a club like Chelsea yet. He is still a long way off and probably won't reach that level anytime soon. I rather keep Torres, Costa and Lukaku together and spend the remaining money on another top-class CM

I agree with you , it was just another option .. It was for an answer to someone who said we need to sign another striker . (Which I believe will be a huge waste of money)

This kid is a pure poacher , he wont take the ball and dribble past 5 players , he wont hold up the ball for 25 sec , he wont roam everywhere .. He will be in the right position at the right time , and that's what chelsea needs . we tried going with those fancy strikers and it didn't work .. a british young lad with such great placement in front of the goal is exactly what we need. If not now then next season , but we really shouldn't let this kid out of our hands..
