Harsh on Mikel, though he hasnt been great this season
Hasnt Moutinho got a release clause for 35mill? He also came out the other day and said he owes Porto and will stay this season so i think he is out the equasion. Marin would be a great signing and at 10mill would be a coup.

I know you wasent the slating him personly but was easier to quote you. Yes he didnt have a great season but with the exception of Ivanovic and Cech who did have a great season for Chelsea?? When we were playing really well at the start of the season Mikel was our best player without a dout and he gets wrongly slated.

24 million. Marin is more of a tricky winger/AMC with an attitude that stinks, though very talented

Like Carrick first to get slated when playing poorly (and ive certainly slated carrick this season) but then doesnt get the credit when he does play well
Tricky winger is what we need lol and his attitude at Chelsea is no problem we have loads of them. I cant see Moutinho leaving Porto yet, he has only been there one season. We have had many chats about Carrick/Mikel and the job they do goes un-noticed, its when they are asked to play more forward you see how poor they are but when asked to do there actual role they are brilliant.
I am bias with regard to Mikel since I have never rated him but he started well but was it vs Newcastle he messed up for a goal? Then again Carrick messed up a few times and I never said a word, subliminally bias against Mikel/Kalou/Eboue/Bendtner/Almunia... Weird.
We need a winger and Marin plays out wide so of corse we need someone like Marin.
I'd love to be able to play without a defensive midfielder as I'm not a fan of those types of players (I don't mean their bad players but everyone would prefer attacking formations, right?) but our full backs attack too much.
Whats happened to Hamsik? Wasn't he tipped to join Utd a couple of years ago? Just a thought as were talking midfielders.

Can play both, very versatile and has two very good feet. For 10mill would be an absolute steel.
i see, if he is that good, i mean all that potential in him, why is he only 10mil?

haha cmon man, even Barca plays with a DM ... Busquets, knowing they are the best(god, i hate you for making me say this) attacking team now. DM is a very important role nowadays.
We're apparently interested in Mata. Like I say this is only apparently, but he would fit into our team perfectly, would suit AVB playing style and is like what £22 million?! (not sure if it is that but it's definitely around that sum) Compare that to some of the recent transfers and he's an absolute bargain!
ive thought before why we havent even been interested in him, he is awesome player.
