Mata's agent is still in the UK talking to AFC LFC and for all I know CFC tbh. Mata's still on holiday in America from post euro U 21 duty.

i would go for Mata over Marin in a heartbeat. Marin's attitude is so poor, like a very poor version of Ozil
 
If they match what I expect AFC LFC have done and thats his 25 mill euro 'release' clause. Still time for Chelsea to nab him but I have heard nothing too serious about it. Also Michel Bastos is being actively forced out of Lyon and has been offered to LFC for 14 mil pounds. Seems like a bargain to me, had a bad season but unbelievably talented

haha cmon man, even Barca plays with a DM ... Busquets, knowing they are the best(god, i hate you for making me say this) attacking team now. DM is a very important role nowadays.

i ve been wanting him for decades...... i mean Bastos, absolutely amazing.

Yeah, he's been linked with Chelsea a couple of times recently. I think he'll go Juve, but who knows?! He's still a very talented player, but I would prefer a younger player, if we would have signed a year or two ago he would have been perfect.
 
Personally I think Marin indulged/believed his own hype too much 2 years ago when he broke through. Had the wrong people around him ever since, German papers used to call him the 'German Messi'. Never helps a young naive player when he gets so much hype...

yea hate these comparisons, they put huge pressure on young talents.
Messi is one of a kind ffs. no one like him, ever.
 
Yeah I have reported the Bastos Juve deal lately, he is their plan b in case Vucinic falls through and they agreed a deal with OL president but OL want rid and the money ASAP and have offered him to Liverpool for around 16.3 mil euros.

Obviously. I'd still rather at say Barca a - Iniesta Xavi Fabregas midfield without a destroyer though.

It'll either be Mata/Bastos for Liverpool, with Downing too unless the money's too much. But we can offer just as much, if not more as Juve will, they're not in Europe either etc etc.
 
Yeah Juve are funding through loans and have around a 70 mill budget this summer to get back in CL, already spent around 23 of that on players like Ziegeler/Liechensteiner (probable misspell), wouldn't rule out LFC signing Amorebieta either they tried before but now hes slightly more available. Shame they missed out on Rami he would have been perfect for CB.
 
Spurs have the cards, they threatened Modric/His agent with legal action if they talked/tried to talk with Chelsea...

Controversial:
*ck Modric he isn't amazingly amazing, go buy Pastore Roman who will be cheaper or maybe pull your finger out and bring in Mata/Bastos...

Modric is a top quality player but Spurs' valuation is too high, better off trying to get Pastore/Hamsik/Gourcuff/Sneijder...
